In your opinion.

I have noticed recently that whenever a movie actor or someone famous dies. It seems to get completely blown out of perportion. I am not sure if it is just me or what, but it is rediculous. People talked about Michael Jackson for months. I wonder what it will be like when Chuck Norris dies. around 150,000 people die everyday. Out of those 150,000 probably 5 of them are compelely blown up.

You think its rediculous how big of a deal people make it these days? Who do you think if they died would be the biggest crisis?

It's a tie between The Pope and The President for me.

 

Well obviously if someone you know dies, you'd feel for them and it will end up a big scene for you and whoever else knew him. Since these celebrities had a lot of fans, they all ended up talking about them and the media used it to gain viewers, etc..

Well nobody really mourns the people they don't know. Everybody knows celebritys.

 

Michael Jacksons death was and still is being blown out of proportion.
He died. He would have died eventually. It's a loss. Mourining for months is ridiculous unless you are/were a relative.

Have you noticed how companies are making a fortune off of michael's death? Every store you go into there are shirts or paraphernalia that involve him and everyone is buying them.

Obama's death wouldn't come as a shock to me. Nor would the popes.

I'd laugh if Chuck Norris died. Not to be cruel but it would be ironic.

 

It's an increase of deaths. We need to mourn less, do autopsy's, and focus on keeping the others away from dying the same death.

 

I was over micheals death about 5 minutes after hearing it on the news. And that wasnt to be rude, but because i was alongside my brother at the hospital while his son was being born.

But i agree, people need to just let him rest in peace. Tired of hearing about it.

 

It will never end, any celebrity that dies will be greatly mourned for days. The only people I can tolerate it for is important figure heads. If Obama or the Pope or any other person with a great amount of power to die then I would accept it.

nah, but seriously i do think it's stupid that people make a big deal about a celebrity's death. There is 100's of people dieing for a cause and nobody cares ( other than close ones) while a person a who made a couple movies or albums dies and it turns into a crisis.

 

I think it depends how they die

 

Let's put it this way. If you die I don't even know you so I probably wont care. But if a Celebrity died, they have been in the spotlight and people look up to them, its obviously going to be a bigger deal. Another example is if you die or Jessica Simpson dies. Who is going to have the bigger impact........
