Agreed with iron maiden not so much twisted sister. I also like judas priest megadeth led zeppelin black sabbath and whatever.
I love Metallica. I went to see them live a couple of months ago, and they were just fucking amazing. I love their old stuff from Kill 'Em All, Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets, but I love their new stuff too. Death Magnetic was fucking impressive though, especially compared to St. Anger (which was terrible IMO). People say Metallica have lost it, but I really disagree.
Metallica is my middle name... In my opinion theres only a few good songs on Kill em' all and all the others are just annoying, all of ...and justice for all is good, all of Ride the lightning is good, all of Master of puppets, Like two songs off of Black album, and then load, reload, damage inc. , S&M, and st.anger sucked large,large penis. Death magnetic kicked ass, and there you have it...
Love metallica. Mainly because I'm a drummer and I love metal and funk. Can't beat funk. If you like metallica, I think you'd like a band called "Tool". I like them, as they have a bunch of weird ass time signatures, but that's maybe just because I want to challenge myself.
Metallica is one of my all time favorite bands. I've listened to them since I was like, 5. They always have been and always will be great, whether they have Cliff or James' vocals go to hell, I still think they're great. That is, with the exception of St. Anger, which I just pretend never happened. Death Magnetic was good though, no where near as good as Ride the Lightning or Justice but still fucking good. Don't rip on them because they're not as good as they used to be. It's still decent.
