Hmmpf. So, me giving people something, especially people in the IRC that I talked to a lot, it wasn't only staff members, quite a bit of normal members, is me helping people bribery? If that's what you think, maybe you should treat others better. Also, excuse me, I'm not payed to moderate the site. Why would I pay to get on to the staff? I own my own site as well, thank you very much. I obviously know who I would never choose as a partner on my site.

What I'm not understanding is how you have room to speak about me in general. You, a USFine rep, are acting as immature as this. Quite funny, as you actually payed for your position, which you abused, and leaked after. I've not done anything to you to make you dislike me, or start this flame session. If you don't think I do work around the forums, how about you actually go look at what I have done, especially when there was problems with the company you represent. Before you start talking trash again, I recommend you take some classes on how to be professional about what you do. You do represent a company after all. Quit acting childish. Learn to not leak information, and when someones not done anything to you directly, there's no reason for you to be flaming me in any way.

 

Nick's one of the best staff members we have. His Mod logs are excellent, and he is constantly looking for ways to improve the site. He didn't pay anyone to become staff - he earned it through his activity and dedication to the site. If you want to throw around allegations and insults, do it elsewhere. This thread is for celebrating Nick's promotion.

Your right, You have done a lot of work.

Lets get a few things straight...

1. I didn't pay for my position. Whatsoever. I was chosen because I helped users with USfine.


2. Yes, I do represent a company. What are you saying? I can't say someone is corrupt? Is there something wrong with that? Obama is the President, and he was talking about how he bowled retarded like.

3. Nothing is wrong with giving gifts, but when every single staff member claims they have been given some sort of object from you, it becomes a problem.

4. I know you help my company, and I respect that.

5. People come to sythe generally to trade, and when there is a moderator that was banned, unbanned with a TWC and Market ban, it makes the users feel unsafe. Which is one reason I believe you shouldn't have been promoted.

I am stating that he paid moderators for his rank, which is somewhat true. Last time I checked Finn, you have been leaking a lot. According to the staff section.

First off, the problem is you're making scene, no businessman would go onto the site that represents them and make a scene about a current moderator.

Next, not every staff member received a "gift", it was when I was quite active in IRC. Only people in IRC got things from me, and that's if they were in need, regardless if they were staff or not. Some examples being BamBino_91, Benwise90 (before he was staff), TDD(when he was banned), Curt, and Cfrey(after his leaving sythe). There's more people, but who I decide to help is my personal business, not yours to be poking your nose into my business. Nowhere near "all staff got gifts" from me, so you can ease up on that argument now. If you look at this general thread, can you please find me another person that posted before you did that had something negative to say? Why can't you? Because I'm usually a friendly person. This is one of the few times someone on this site has actually bothered me enough to get this type of thing going. Know why? Because you're supposed to act professional, yet you act like a child.

Me, being unbanned with a TWC and Market ban, was a wrongful ban. It was looked over by the staff, and later by Sythe, and I've been found innocent in that situation. I don't see why people should feel unsafe. I don't do trades in the market unless I really need something, and would use and official middleman just like anyone else. You can now go start drama elsewhere.

 

You were already stripped of your rank for leaking staff lounge information. I'm rather disappointed that it seems to have made no impression on you. These issues are sequestered in the staff lounge for good reason. We do not want our members to have to deal with the petty drama; thus, if there is an issue among staff, we will address it. In this case, had I wanted to overrule Finn, I would have gone to another Admin, or to Sythe.

Yes, his promotion to sectional caused some controversy among staff, and I was ultimately displeased with the process. However, I do not believe that 'buying a position' was ever his intention. If you recall, my complaint was not against Nick, so much as it was against the mods and their votes. (Even then, I never called it corruption. It is not easy to judge a friend objectively, and my request was simply for staff to re-examine their reasoning.)

On this, I once again think Nick's promotion to global was a bit soon; I would have preferred to give him another month. However, Nick is by no means undeserving of the rank, and I trust he will do well.
