Appeal

I received an infraction for my first offense in years, and that offense was posting a thread that apparently should have been posted in a sticky. People were posting threads like mine for weeks before I posted mine and none of them got locked. Mine landed me with an infraction, though.

I think it was extremely unfair to receive an infraction for my first offense in my entire time being on Sythe when I could have at least received a verbal warning or something first.

I will do it your way, let's see if it will work:

State your Sythe name - i am java
State why you were infracted - I was infracted for "You created a thread involving names of yours, pretty much boasting about how good they are. That should be done in the thread I provided you with above.", which is basically not posting in a sticky.
State why infraction was unwarranted - it was my first offense ever in my year of being here. Everyone else was posting similar threads without getting infracted or their threads locked, so I decided to make one single thread. No warning, no nothing. I just simply get an infraction just like that.

 

Some threads are seen, others aren't. Yours just happened to be seen by myself, so since you ignored the sticky completely, you were infracted for it. You deserve no special treatment because it is your first infraction.
