i've been out for six months, my left shoulder has shifted foreward stretching all the muscles in my back. Supra spinatus and just about everything else is fucked, 450$ on private physio and it's still not better. If I go public it will be on my medical record= no military.

Actually, there's waivers for everything now. I'm willing to bet you could get in even if they knew about your shoulder. . .it would just take a little long at "meps" its a place where you get processed and do a shit ton of paperwork and tests. Now don't get me wrong that extra time spent in there might make you wanna burn down an orphanage.

But I guess I know where your coming from, I didn't tell them I had asthma haha. And I can still run a low 13 two mile before I feel like I'm going die haha. You'd be very very surprised by how many out of shape/problematic people there are here.

Sorry to hear that though. IF you really want to get in they'll let you. I told them about my surgery on my ankles, they asked me if it's giving me any problems. I told them No, and they said Ok and it was left at that.

I'm stationed here at fort campbell for I believe 2 years, I deploy with them and all that good shit spring of 2010. After my deployment I really want to get re-classed out of infantry into psychological operations (psy-ops) as they call it.

 

I'm in Canada, it's more strict here ( an hour out of Halifax). I know I could get into the reserves but that's about it. They figure it's likely to reoccur putting you at a larger risk vs other members. If I don't have a fair amount of my strength back by the end of the summer i'm giving up, going public, getting an MRI and an orthopedic surgeons opinion. It's depressing as I was carved out of granite six months ago.

 

Ohh I gotcha, yea your best bet is probably going to a good doctor and really getting it fixxed for good...
