Hello, You Jew here writing a dispute on my TWC and Market Ban. Lets begin with the situation that made me get this ban/TWC. Here is a quote.

First off i'd like to say this is the last appeal i'll be making, I didn't want to even make this second one, but a few people convinced me to, so here I go posting it. I deny ever ban evading, and the self vouching is a false accusation seeing as i have 2 or 3 vouches total, all from R2Pleasent for around 400$ of GP. Here is the full story.

I was banned by Viper for Ban evasion/self vouching. I have to disagree. I was never ban evading. I have a real life friend who lives in my neighborhood. He lives around 20 houses down, and he got me ino the black markets of RS. So back then His account was DevonWard I think. Anyways, I was over at his house, and he regestered me an account named You Jew. I never really used it until later in 07 when I started buying GP from R2Pleasent. I've bought around 110M off him, and that was the only transactions i really did on Sythe. Well, i've lurked for around a year, and just now had some free time to post a few threads and look at a few things. Well when talking to Viper, he asked me what i wanted to be called, You Jew or NickVeness, to which i asked how he knew my email was veness.nick, and that being my first and last name. Well he brings up some logs that show how NickVeness and You Jew were regestered off the same IP adress. I have not ever made another Username, and since it was regestered off the same IP adress, it was probably regestered by Devon, and does not have the same regestration email as me. You can check my IP logs, and that for the past year or so, the only IP to access my account starts with a 69. I have Comcast, which is a Static IP, and so does Devon. His IP starts with a 68., and he does live really close to me. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I really have not ban evaded, I just regestered this name at my friends house, who turned out to be a scammer later on.

As for self vouching, You Jew only has vouches from R2Pleasent. I am on R2P's VIP list, because i have done over 500$ in transactions with him. I have not self vouched, But Devon might have. Please understand. I did not ban evade, nor did i self vouch. I had no reason to be self vouching as I VERY rairly used the black market section, and since R2P is done, i don't use the black market section anyways. I have not Ban evaded, its just a person who lives in my neighborhood, at whos house i regestered at, has multiple accounts and all of them are banned. Please check how many times this account has been accessed from the 68. ip. It should only be once. My 69. IP is my home IP adress and thats the one i always used. Very sorry for this inconvenience, and a few mods can probably vouch me on that I really have no intentions on scamming/self vouching/ban evasion, and I hardly use the Black Market. My only vouches are from R2Pleasent, so I don't see how I am self vouching. As for ban evasion, the regestration IP for those accs is the same because I used his internet when i regested, but he never had access to the account itself. If you can view an exstencive history, I only used his IP once or twice. my 69. IP was the most used because this is my actual home IP, and only has this account linked to it.

I understand this is very hard to believe, and i fully know i'm responsable for the IPs on my account, but this was a one time access when i regestered, and seeing as it somewhat my fault, I would take anything to be unbanned, Ban From Market or whatever other punshment is possable. I enjoy this community quite a bit.

In case this does get denied, which is probably will, I would like to say good bye to all of you, and if you know me, you will always be able to find me in the unoffical IRC. Thanks for a great 2 years, even though i wasn't too active, i've lurked for quite a while. Thanks for everything.

That was my ban appeal, which was accepted by most the staff. As you can see, i asked for the TWC and the market ban. I asked for it as a temporary thing until the whole story was figured out, which i believe has happend, as me and Sin666 had a very long conversation and I believe that i stated my story about the situation fully.

The TWC and market ban are making me look bad in the long run and affect the responces some people give to my threads, based upon that TWC rank, some people might not take my posts seriously, and disrespect my general oppinion on most things, just because I am deemed to be a rulebreaker because of something I have been proven not to have done. I don't want an offence that was not commited by me affecting my work on this community, please understand that the TWC and Market ban requests in that appeal were ment to be temporary, and just for security reasons until everything was straigtened out.

I understand some of you are going to say that I don't need to have this removed, because I would be a risk, but please contact any active IRC member, and most staff to get a character reference on me. I am a part of this community to express my oppinions on matters and further understand my views by posting threads in SFA and off-topic, but i want my oppinions to be viewed, and I don't want to be viewed as a scammer/rule breaker by having that ban and TWC that I have done nothing to recieve, other then requesting them for a safety measure. In my oppinion the full story was explained, and there should be no needs for safety measures now. Please take this thread into concideration, and allow staff to post their oppinions on this matter either here or somewhere private. Please understand that i would like this TWC and sectional ban removed because it was a safety percaution, and i have proved i pose no threat to this community, and because i believe that this TWC makes my posts look less legitimate.

I would like to have views of a few staff before this is resolved, so allow for this thread to be open for the time being.

However, the TWC is deserved. Your unbanning hinges on a belief that a friend of yours, a scammer, had control of your account on and off for a duration. This is conceivable, given that your friend supposedly registered for you.

It further contends that you never noticed the posts he made, even when you posted not long before or after. You have even posted your email from his IP, which means he either had control of your email too, or you used Sythe at his house after he had been using your account - still, without him saying anything. Although I do not believe you to be the same person, it my personal belief that this was a shared account.

Still, I trust the judgement of the mods who believe you. There is a lot of gray in this situation, and it's not easy to see through. That is why the TWC and market ban was a condition of your unbanning, and I do not see this decision being changed so soon after you've been unbanned.

However, I will leave this open in case anyone thinks differently.

To the e-mail, posts etc, my sythe account and email had the same password back then, and i wasn't active around the computer for around 8-10 months.. Maybe even a year.

Reason i put in a dispute this early is because a few most have told me I cannot dispute it later then 30 days, and i'm pretty near that mark right now, so I put one together. Still waiting for some other mods to look at this and tell me what they think.
