6.9 Earthquake Baja California

Did anybody else feel it? Went on for a minute or so in San Diego.

I got a friend in San Diego, he said it was crazy. 1 minute he was eating, next minute he's bouncing around.

 

Yea, i felt it but it didn't feel that long, im in south-east cali. It felt weird though haven't felt one like that it felt like it went on for like 20 seconds..

 

Seems like there are earthquakes somewhere around the world like every few days now =/
Glad I don't live in any danger areas.

 

I live in Los Angeles and I did not feel a thing?

 

Friends from San Fran felt it a couple minutes after I did. I'm surprised you didn't juvenile.

 

I don't know if it's you or it's the media, but someone needs to get the magnitude of this earthquake correct. According to the New York Times and LA Times, it's a 7.2.

I heard about it. Like JuhoJ: I'm glad I don't live in any danger areas.

 

My friend said it wasn't that bad.

 

It wasn't bad at all, just lasted a bit longer then usual ones.

 

Did anything crash or break?

 

Earthquakes are always happening, just smaller ones, what are not felt.

 

It all depends on the how far the Richter metre was from the epicentre, one source could be right at it, and one could be further away, that's why I presume they are different.

 

If anyone knows which plates hit?
