Why does it matter? Let him think what he wants to think, and don't even mention it to yourself. Most of these guys are pissy about you because they think your "soft" or "callow", and they think this because you've been putting a lot (and I do mean, A LOT) of thought into what others think of you, and you even went to such lengths as to threaten us with leaving.
