    Free Money Making Guide

Hey everyone, you know the money guides these companies try to sell you? They say you can be a mega gazillionare just by using them. Well you can be... or you could be. These guides are outdated. They were written before the trade limit and before the grand exchange. So I thought that you shouldn't learn the hard way and buy it only to find out it's outdated. So I have the guide here for you fro free. So here it is. PS If this helped could you leave a reply like vouching me because I don't have any vouches yet. Thanks.

    Free Money Making Guide

    You Must Be Bananas…
Your first steps to making GP There are a variety of ways to make small amounts of money in a short space of time. I would encourage you to walk around Lumbridge and to get the feel of the community. Speak to some members. Try and sell off your starting gear. Walk around and start killing goblins around Lumbridge. Of course keep the items you need to kill the goblins. Once you have the 30GP clear out your inventory so that all you have is the 30GP. Quickly head over to Port Sarim. There will be a man dressed in blue standing near the dock. It will cost you 30GP sail to the island of Karjama. Upon arriving at the dock you should see a house. Inside the house there will be a man named Luthas. Talk to him and reply yes to start the banana picking quest.

Pick the bananas, put them in the crate, and then talk to Luthas to collect your easily earned 30 GP. The beauty of this is that you can keep asking him to do the same job again. You will soon very quickly be getting sums of 30GP, and I would recommend you keep at this job until you have 2000-3000GP. Remember that my recommendations come from personal experience. You can settle for less money, but I have found that it will be worth your while to get at least 2000GP, and no more than 3000GP.

    Chicken Carnage…
Chicken feathers are one of the few items which have constantly been in demand. Feathers are used all the time by members who want to increase their fletching level, and those that need it simply for making arrows. For this reason, feathers will ALWAYS be in demand by existing and new members to Runescape.

Chickens can be found anywhere, but try and choose a good chicken spawn point, and begin your slaughter fest from there. By doing the Chef’s quest to collect an egg, you will become familiar with a good chicken spawn point All you have to do is kill the chickens and pick up the feathers which are dropped. Your bog standard chicken will drop anything from 5 to 15 feathers. Keep killing, keep collecting, and once you have amassed a few thousand feathers, sell them off.

Do not sell your feathers for anything less than 5GP! Feathers are in demand, and if you find a real Fletcher or marksman who is serious about their trade, then you will be able to sell feathers in the free world for at least 5GP each. In member’s world, you should be able to sell each feather for up to 10GP each! This is a fantastic way of gaining money in the game. Just think about it, it should take you at the most 20 minutes to kill about 200 chickens. Provided that they drop 5-15 feathers each (lets take an average of 10 feathers), and you sell each feather for 5GP, you will make an astounding 10,000 GP! And remember, this is provided you sell your feathers for 5GP each – many players, particularly from the member’s worlds, will pay up to 10GP per feather! While you’re at it, I suggest you also try and get bargain by buying other players feathers for no more than 3GP each. Many players underestimate the value of feathers, so don’t be afraid to buy feathers, because you know there are players who will pay at least 5GP each. Once you get enough money, you should be able to pull out of the manual feather collection altogether, and focus on buying feathers off inexperienced players and selling them off to players you know will pay you good money for it.

You can also use the forums to sell your feathers. This is a great way to get in touch with players who need it most. I suggest you post in the fletching section of the Runescape forums, and offer your feathers there. If anyone is interested, you can take down their username and contact them in the game to make a deal.

    Rune Essence Extravaganza…
You must first complete the ‘Rune Mystery Quest’ in order to be able to mine Rune Essence. If you haven’t already done this quest, you can start it by talking to the King in Lumbridge Castle. Once you have completed the quest, you may teleport to the Rune Essence Mines. The easiest way to do this is to go to the Varrock Rune Shop, which is located south of the west bank. Here you can talk to Aubury, upon which he will teleport you to the mines. Mine the Essence until your inventory is full. Head back to the bank, deposit, and then go back to the mines to mine more Essence. Repeat this until you have a large bulk amount of Rune Essence.

The going price for Rune Essence is anything from 20-40GP. Try and sell it for as high as possible, in the largest bulk as you can. Once you have made enough money, you can use the same tactics discussed in the feather section to buy it cheaper off some players, and sell it for a greater price to others in order to make profit.

There are other ways in order to make money when you start out, but the best and only ways you should do this is through collecting and selling bananas, feathers and rune essence. Once you have made a few thousand it will be time to abandon manually collecting these or any other items, as you should purely focus on buying low and selling high. Even if you want to continue selling feathers and rune essence, focus on buying and selling rather than collecting and selling.

    Chapter 2

It’s time to leave the entire manual labour work behind. From now on, we will focus on buying and selling – this is the way to make a killing on Runescape. The trick is to buy in bulk in order to maximise profits and time efficiency. Some items take a lot of space in the inventory, like ore or fish, as they are not stackable like feathers for example. For this reason, you must withdraw your deposited goods in the bank as ‘banknotes’. You can then sell those goods in large numbers, making trading with other players a lot easier.

Also, make sure you understand supply and demand. If a bank is crowded with people saying “I want ****”, and no one is offering it, then you know that the item is in high demand. Likewise, if people are saying “I am offering ****” and no one is buying, then you know the item is in low demand. There are generally a few items that are always in high demand, and that is lobsters, feathers, coal, iron, and herbs. I have already discussed the techniques you can use for selling feathers, and I will now talk about selling lobsters and iron ore.

    Lovely Lobsters …
Once you have at least 2000GP you will have the opportunity to expand. To increase your GP go to the fishing dock on Karjama, which is conveniently close to where you are now. Begin to buy as many cooked lobsters as you can. You should be able to get them for around 100gp to 300gp, depending on the world, time and the state of the economy. You can usually get them for around 150GP. Do this until your money is spent or your inventory is full, leaving 30GP for the ride back to Port Sarim. Upon arrival, head back to Varrock’s town square and sell your lobsters for 250gp to 400gp each. Here is where your marketing skills come in hand. I would recommend standing in the centre of the town square and shouting “cooked lobsters for sale!” whilst claiming to give discounts. You shouldn’t have much of a problem selling the cooked lobsters as the market is usually crowded with people. This is where the math comes in! Based on my personal recommendation, with 2000GP you could easily purchase 12 lobsters for 1800GP and have more than enough for the ride back. Once at the market place, you could sell each lobster for a standard price of 250.

Remember, there are more rich Runescape players than before, so don’t be scared to call for high prices. By selling 12 lobsters for 250GP each, you will make 3000GP. That leaves you with 1200GP profit! Repeat the process, doubling the amount you buy and sell, and you will soon expand pretty quickly. You can sell at Varrock, Draynor, Falador and Edgeville banks. Each trip should bring you more and more profit. Repeat this process until you have 50,000GP. Don’t be disheartened if there is no one to buy from. You can become friends with a few fishers and establish your own business, having them provide you with a constant supply of lobsters. If there is no business, keep switching worlds until you are happy with a price!

    Iron Ore Opportunity…
Buy as much iron ore for as little cost as you can by searching the worlds. Do not buy for more than 50GP each. I would recommend you buy your ore in mining towns simply because these towns are full of miners, hungry to sell their ore. You can try the Fallador Bank; it is close to both the mining guild and to the mines which are located southwest. In order to get the best price, buy from smaller worlds and sell in more populated ones. World 1 is always brimming with players and buyers, and you can sell your ore there for as much as 100GP! So say you purchased 40 Iron Ore for 50GP each, costing you 2000GP. Selling these for 100GP each would yield you 4000GP, an easy 2000GP profit! And why not take it to a higher level? Buy more and sell more, and make a greater profit. I typically buy and sell a few thousand at a time. On a regular night I buy 10,000 iron ore for 40GP each (after some heavy bargaining). I go on to sell them for 100GP each. By spending 400,000GP, I make 1,000,000GP – That’s a net profit of 600,000GP!

    Chapter 3

After much hard (and well earned) work, you should have some 50,000-70,000GP depending on how much time you put into your work and how efficiently you performed in the task. You may have become tired with running back and forth from one place to another, but the more money you have, the more rapidly it will expand.

Everyone starts from somewhere, and the more you work, the easier it gets. You now have enough money to start investing into some serious buying and selling. The more money you have, the bigger the trades you can complete. The art of buying and selling relies on a principle of buying low and selling high. Mind you, remember not to ask for the lowest prices when buying, and the highest prices when selling, as this can cost you valuable time. So overall, you should continue with what was suggested before, but this time dealing with greater trades by buying and selling in greater numbers.

I mentioned using banknotes before, and I will go through their effectiveness by using the example of selling lobsters again. This time, you can make even more money by utilising the banknote feature to sell in greater numbers.

While making your trip to Karjama to buy lobsters, start enquiring into lobster notes as well. Many people there will sell their notes for 150-200GP each. By walking around the market, you can find some selling for the lowest market price, and the other for the highest. This is natural, and it is where you will come in to make some money. Go and buy the lowest price you can find, and then go to the other side and sell for slightly less. So if you bought 100 notes for 150GP each you could easily sell them for 200GP each in another world or even further down in the market. This gives you an instant profit of 5000GP. This obviously varies depending on how much you buy and sell, but because it’s so quick and easy, you could be effortlessly making a few thousand more. Using this technique, begin to expand. Depend on the principle of selling what you have, and not holding on to your stock for the future, as the price may become less than what you previously bought. Never settle for the same amount. If you want to expand, you will have to start thinking big. Once you have 500,000, begin to buy as many notes as you can.

The more you buy, the more you sell, and the more you sell, the higher the profit. Using this same technique I bought 10,000 lobsters for 150GP each, costing me 1,500,000. I then went on to sell them for 250GP each, giving me a total profit of 1 Million GP! There is no limit to where you can go, but don’t expect to sell your entire load to one person. You will either have to have a series of serious buyers, or knowledge of the market and that there will be many people to buy off you. Luckily, this is nearly always the case, and right about now is the time to make serious money in Runescape, before this information reaches out more Runescape players!

This principle of buying and selling means any player can do it, and that you do not need special skills to make millions. Lobsters aren’t the only way; a friend of mine introduced me to plucking feathers off chickens, which costs nothing! We then switched worlds and sold the feathers for 5GP each to a high level Fletcher. Although this method involves manual labour, there is no limit to the extent to which you can apply this to your existing business. The road is open for you to make as much money as you possibly can. The trick is to keep expanding, and instead of focusing on short term profit margins, look ahead and prospect selling the stock to make small profit when looking at the item individually, but immense amounts of money when looking at it collectively.

Don’t waste your time bargaining, instead focus on acquiring as much as you can so even when you do sell for slightly higher, it will make a big difference!

    Free Money Making Guide

    Chapter 4

Have you tried employing other people to do your work for you? Once you have made at least a million, I would suggest you hire workers to do all the tasks I mentioned before for you. You can go outside a bank and say “Hiring workers – will pay well”, and then make a deal with as many people as you can to start mining iron or collecting feather for you, so you can then sell it for a greater price. The difference between simply buying selling is this: you will have a set of loyal workers who will always deliver the goods. This means if you aren’t satisfied with the performance of a worker, you may fire it and keep those that are best. I currently manage about 20 very good workers who consistently collect feathers for me. I pay them 4GP per feather, which I pay them every time they collect 10,000 feathers. I then go on to sell the feathers in member’s worlds - anything from 8-10GP each. Because I have around 20 people doing this for me, I make a lot of money very fast.

Coal is another good material to get a group of loyal workers to mine and sell to you. You will need to invest 100,000 to 200,000 thousand at a time. Basically, you should be able to buy coal for a maximum of 100-120GP each (don’t settle for anything more) near the east bank of Falador on highly populated worlds. Once you have the required amount switch worlds and sell them each for 150GP at the exact same location! It’s as simple as that! Make sure the workers you select will build a long lasting relationship. Try and become friends with a few miners, and have them deal with you specifically.

You can experiment and establish a more sophisticated business. For example, I have a set of miners and smiths who work exclusively for me. I buy coal (130GP each) and iron ore (70GP each) from my miners. I then give these to my smiths for FREE, who are more than happy to smith them for me in order to increase their smith level. So it costs me only 200GP to both get the raw materials AND make it into steel, and I don’t even do any of the work! I sell these for up to 600GP each; it makes a hefty profit when sold in bulk.

Soon enough deals which involve anything less than 1K will be a thing of the past. Again, advertise your goods on Runescape forums and in the game. Aim high, increase your marketing and you will very soon become a multi-millionaire!

    Essential Tips and Techniques

    * Always remember the golden rule: Buy in bulk and buy it low, sell in bulk and sell it high – not only will you make a greater profit, but it is the fastest way of making lots of money.
    * Be patient and switch worlds – if there are no buyers, don’t sell it for a low price you wouldn’t normally be happy with. Save your goods, and either come back another time, or simply switch worlds until your happy with a buyer.
    * Don’t settle for a price you’re unhappy with – people naturally want to buy for as low as possible. I’m not saying don’t compromise on the price, but if you’ve set a limit on a price then don’t go below it. For example, I personally never settle for less than 5GP per feather, because I know there are people who pay up to 10GP.
    * Use a calculator – if your going to be buying/selling items in their thousands, you had better use a calculator to get the price right. I’m not bad at maths, but I doubt anyone can calculate the cost of 45,625 feathers for 3GP each without working it out on paper or even better, a calculator. Using a calculator is also essential for working out if the seller has got the total price right. For example, the total price of the feathers came to 136,875GP. A cunning seller might try to deal it for 126,875GP. There are no excuses for not using a calculator; your PC has one which you can access in the accessories menu from your start bar.
    * Double check the price to avoid a scam situation. Some crafty people change the price just before you accept the deal. Make sure you double check and confirm.
    * Use the forums – you won’t always get the best deal by roaming about in the game. Sometimes it’s better to post your offer on the forums to attract more serious buyers.
