Why is sex considered "dirty"? Is it because of religion?

Why are are body's privates considered "private"?

Just because something gives two human beings pleasure.. that makes it bad?

Speaking of religion, I think I've figured this life thing out. God does exist. Shredderbeam is God, here to test our faith. He's tempting us with sin and we must resist!
