5498's Dark bow range pking guide
This is my second Runescape guide.
The following is written by me.
The below information has not yet been tested.
I will add pictures when i start pking with my new range pure.
Starting.
The Dark bow is a newer release with an amazing special.
When you are pking with it at lower levels you'll be able to 1 hit people alot.
Which is good since it doesn't give your oppenent a chance to use a protect item prayer.
Requirements.
The dark bow itself costs 3.5-3.6 million currently.(price may change over time)
So i would recomend having atleast 5mill. (list of stuff to buy below)
You need 60 range to wield the dark bow.
There isnt much to training to 60 range.
so basicaly...
1-10 chickens
10-20 cows
20-30 monks
30-55 rock crabs
55-60 ogres
Stuff to buy.
Dark Bow(3600k)
red or black dhide chaps and vamps(20-30k)
20-50 dragon arrows (8.5k ea
glory ammy (60k)
200 sharks (950ea)
20 range pots (3-4k ea)
coif (500gp)
green boots or climbing boots (1-5kea)
15 varrock tele tabs (2k ea)
ring of life (5k ea)(its just incase u get in bad trouble. the 5k is worth a chance to save ur d bow.)
200 laws (300ea)
200 airs (20ea)
What to wear.
Head (Coif)
Necklace (Glory or power)
Chest (leather body)
Wepon (Dark Bow)
Legs (Red or black chaps)
feet (climbing boots or green boots)
Hand (red or black vambs)
Ring (ring of life)
Cape (green cape or range cape if u have one )
Ammo (4 d arrows)
In you inventory
Range pot x 1
varrock tele tab x 1
law runes x 15
air runes x 15
sharks x 18
Explanation.
The tele tab is incase u get snared or bursted.
The 15 airs and laws are for tele grabbing the loot.
There are only 18 sharks because u hardly ever take damage ecept for recoil damage.
Stats.
atk (1)
str (1)
def (1)
range (60+)
magic (45+)
prayer (1 or 26)(26 prayer is just incase you have no balls)
Hitpoints (It is good to have them slightly lower then norml since ull only be in the wildy for max 2 seconds)
Technique.
1) With all of your supplies you need head to edgeville world 18.
2) Withdraw all the stuff ur gunna need.
3) Turn spec on head over wildy ditch and turn run on.
4) Find a skulled target and stand back from them around 7 squares away.Now drink a dose of your range pot
5) Run in spec them and run out.
6) Telegrab your loot and bank.
7) Wait for your special to heal and repeat steps.
Conclusion.
