What is up with everyone in: RuneScape Black Market>User Services>Stat Training offering free botting services, or asking for vouches/payment for botting on an account. This is stupid, you are getting paid for something you didn't do. What happened to the legit trainers? People should not be allowed to post threads about Botting for vouches/payment, because they are basically doing nothing but clicking Run Script and walking away >_> ....... Edit: More importantly, who would be dumb enough to let someone go on their account and then bot? 1)Account Sharing/Trading 2)Macroing (if caught, that is) (p.s.) I had no idea where to put this, and believe me I looked. Sorry if I missed somewhere.
that is kind of true.. you cant make a vouch for somthing they gave away like.. you gave a free acount.. and they never really did it true.. there should be no botting services

Seriously though, if you don't like it, don't click their thread. Problem solved. If they're willing to let someone bot on their account, who cares. Obviously they don't. Right?
I don't click on the threads, well, I clicked on the first one I saw a while back. I posted a long reply which was sorta like this thread except a bit longer, and I deleted the post because I did not want to deal with the drama of all the botters who are making money off of it flaming me. Other then that, no, I have not clicked any botting threads. But when I go to the stat training area, I see them, and it's bothersome. Who wants a legit trainer when someone can easily bot for 2-5x longer then a trainer wants to stay on the computer? It takes away jobs/money/vouches from the people who actually sit there and click every little monster/potion/bow/logs. AND THE MOST STUPID PART OF IT IS: RSBot is NOT something you have to pay for, you DON'T have to rent it, steal it, or download it illegaly in any sense. You can get it for free and scripts for free as well. And it's not like it takes a genius to understand how it works. I guess it is pure laziness from the buyer/owner of account. It's just sad to see it around.. Because cyan is hot. :O And it's not like you can't read it, it is easily readable and bright. Well, botting is a great way to get some vouches to increase your legitimacy. One does not want to start a GP/PIN/Torso/FC business with no records of completed and non-scammed transact/ors/ions. Well, botting is nearly undetectable. Most scripts can handle randoms, excluding the classroom one. It's also much faster training for low leveled accounts. A lot of legitimate trainers still do it manually for higher levels, especially since they monitor accounts when they hit 90 in any stat.
Temp banned :O "botting is nearly undetectable" Yes, only if the botter bots properly. On RSBot forums there are tips on how to do so, but what if you haven't seen them. Also, with the subject above, sometimes players Report you for not talking to them, assuming you are macroing/autoing/botting. You can't help that, if someone is going to report you, they will. They also report for strange movement, Jagex also starts to monitor your account after that too. If you want any proof of this go to the RSBot forums and look around. Proof or go away And for the first thing you said: Botting does not make you look legitimate, and it obviously doesn't prove you can do a service which you stated any quicker. "Botting does not make you look legitimate" - Well, maybe it can, because the voucher/buyer may write: "omfg thx Bot4Cash342, trained my account 1-60 wc really quick!" In this case, the person who sees the vouch later, or has been shown the vouch, is under the impression that this "Bot4Cash342" actually DID do the service on his own. Oh btw, do you love getting banned or do the mods love kicking you in the knee?
