How to Properly Merchant [Tips]

**NOTE. This is not really a guide, it's just a bunch of tips i am giving for merchanting. PLEASE GIVE YOUR FEEDBACK, or thanks, as my reputation/vouch will build xD. I WILL ADD MORE WHEN I CAN THINK OF MORE.**

Background​

I am a merchanter, and I've been doing Grand Exchange merchanting for 3 months. In these 3 months, i have made around 150M profit, and I've worked with the greatest merchanters of all time, such as Chessy018, and A_C_I_D_Y. Over time, i became friends with Chessy018, and made 100M in just her clan chat alone.

Common Terms​

Dump - Sell that item ASAP
Buy Out - Spend as much as you can/want on that item
Pen/Penalty - You've bought the maximum amount of item you can for the next 4 hours, must wait 4 hours to buy again.

Tips​

- I wouldn't start merchanting until i have around 20M cash. That is when the big money rolls in, and the more money you have, the more cash you get.

- Try not to solo merch until you can read graphs, and you are prepared for a loss. This can backfire any time.

- I would advise you use Chessy018, the richest RuneScaper known, as well as the biggest public merchanting clan. A_C_I_D_Y is OK as well.

- Do not always listen to what some people in the clan says. A lot of people are trying to manipulate you so that you can buy their crashed item. WAIT FOR SOMEONE RANKED TO TELL YOU THE ITEM.

- World 2 is your best friend. A lot of my items came from World 2 besides GE.

- Keep in mind there is a limit on the items you buy. Treasure Trail items, you can only buy 2 per 4 hour. Most other items are 10/4 hour, or 100/4 hour.

- Also, DO NOT panic if you bought an item and you cannot resell it. That is because you have to wait 4 hours to sell that item, or else, you just got screwed :/.

How much does this make?

Well at 150M cash, i make around 2-3M a day, only spending 30 minutes at most at the GE.

Hmmz, nice guide. But A C I D Y cc is really death. It's full of noobs now, so I guess i go to Chessy's. Let's hope now I make some good Profit.

 

Yeah they do. They buy out an item so there's a demand. People need the item but it isn't there. So the price will go up.
Also be active in that clan chat, people can dump the item sooner than you think or what they said. Best thing to do is do this with friends with a bunch of money.^_^

 

I really don't see it as needing a person with a lot of money, they just need enough to be able to buy the max amount per 4 hour. They can have 1B and still only buy 10/4hr, rather you have 100 people with 15M each and each of them buy the item 10/4hr.
