Why is a troll / joke thread in SFA?

 

I talked to my brother, who is 6 years old, about this topic, and he brought up points such as "why do people talk about Santa if he's not real?" and "why is there a north pole if Santa's not real?" and I was like "holy shit, you bring up a good point."

 

Lol just because you never see Santa or God does not mean you can match them into the same catagories.

The reason for Santa is Fact.
Reason for God is uncertant.

Disrespectful. Meant it or not.

 

Explain why I found out the hard way?
My parents forgot to put presents out from "santa", yet no more appeared magically from him that night...

The north pole refers to the poles of planet earth... there are magnetic poles, and geographic poles. The geographic north is where the north pole is. The magnetic north is the opposite end. I will not go into detail why this is (we are doing this topic in physics atm) just go here:

And we talk about santa clause because he's a friggin person, whether he's fake or not. People talk about spongebob squarepants.... yet he doesn't exist in real life.

Santa and God are about as real as each other. Considering there is no proof that either exist, and because it is impossible to provide proof that something doesn't exist, what Finn said is absolutely correct.

 

Santa is just a cheap commercial rip-off of Saint Nicholas. The CocaCola company took Saint Nicholas (Sinterklaas) and transformed him into a strange fat guy from the North Pole who rides around in a flying sleigh.

For those who don't know who Saint Nicholas is.

seriously, i dont sleep on x-mas eve night or x-mas night. and on the x-mas eve night/xmas morning, i havnt seen Santa ever, and ive been doing that for years.

i also help my parents put out the presents every years since 9 years old.

i dont believe in Santa...

Oh and just so you know, he wasn't originally in a red suit.
The suit became red after the corporation Coca-Cola got their hands on some form of rights, and changed it. I believe he wore blue in the stories before that.

But Saint Nicholas was a real person, but as for the Santa Clause, I'm leaning towards fake.

Well i remember one time my parents had a test. They hung stockings and put a christmas tree in the living room, and didnt bother to buy gifts, and guess what happened on christmas day? nothing. They just bought me stuff i wanted on boxing day
