This completely fantasy, and I don't see it being implimented in any game, ever.

When you sit down to play any game, whether it be an MMORPG, FPS, RTS, RTT, Racer, Puzzle, Or even a Life Simulating type game, you ALWAYS get a second chance to play. Bare with me on this, but imagine for a moment, a game where when you started playing, and you died, lost, failed, missed, or however the game was ended in someone elses, or the NPC's favor, you are not allowd to play again. No reset button, no extra lives, just one chance to play the game, and then you're forbidden to play again. lol I know it's not practicle in this day, and age. It's just a thought. How seriously would you take that game lol. Also, if you wanted to stop, and come back to reality, there'd be a way to Pause it, and even then, while you're paused, you can still be at risk somehow in the game. Like I said, It's vauge, and not practicle, so don't be to mean on the comments.

Wrong. Die in Shaiya on ultimate and unless you got revived by a priest or a resurrection stone (to costly to buy normally) you lose the acc. Get your facts right next time.

This idea might be fun for very few people, but the majority would not like this. For most people, the whole purpose of the game is completing it. Having a chance of never being able to complete the game would repel many people away from the game.

What if there goal isnt to make profit?

I acctually could see a game like this being made, as a video game study, I think you could learn alot from an expirement like this. Since people would take the game 100% more serious, the amount of conflict would be insane. Imagine if it was enitely pvp aswell, like real life. In this event most people would either sneak around, or try to find a group for protection, sorta like a gang. In any light, i think this would be a very good idea. Maybe we could contact a university with this sort of game as a experimental proposal.
