    Warning

I received a warning for back seat modding in the UE section, yes I was in the wrong, but I said it because users continuously make threads about RuneScape, and its seems as if users don't acknowledge the UE rules. That is why I had stepped in and reminded them that there are set rules, and that they should read the stickies.

I am curious to know as to why a UE member, cannot remind users about rules in the UE. If we don't remind users, then the UE will constantly be filled with threads related to RuneScape, just take a look in the Help and Requests area and see my point of view. I'm not asking for the warning to be reversed, I simply want to know why we cannot remind users of the rules.

Your job is to write guides in the UE section, not to tell them what the rules are.

Our jobs aren't just to write guides in the UE section, where there to do alot more like critique guides, and help out others as best we can. Writing guides are not compulsory for UE members. By me telling a user that they are breaking the UE rules, and that they should read the stickies, doesn't that mean I am helping them out from not receiving a warning/infraction?

That's the moderator's job. They're supposed to have followed the rules in the first place. Your job is to make UE guides. It's not compulsory but it doesn't grant you 'immunity' from backseat modding.
