Has anyone else heard the rumour that Mechscape is going to be realeased in 09 on the first of january?

Nope, will be interesting if it is, it most likely will be another skill rather than mechscape this early in my opinion.

It is being released in the first quarter of the year of 2009. Jagex never stated exactly March.

Yeah, All i heard was from the conference, Where he stated Q1 of 2009.

Meaning between Jan - Mar

Id guess it won't be Jan, So probly Feb or March... And the people above seem to think march ^.^
