although my 40kb/s (thats right, 40 KB per second...) download speed really isn't helping. Gotta download wow from scratch as I uninstalled it a while ago, predicted to take 62 hours..

Do I have to buy all of the WoW games to play? Or can I just buy cataclysm, because I really want to start playing this game.

You'd have to buy normal wow (£4, includes 1 month game time) and then you can play very basically with a level limit of 60

You can then buy the first expansion, the burning crusade, for £5 which allows up to level 70 and the ability to venture Ouland

You can then buy wrath of the lich king, the second expansion, for £10 which allows level 80 and Northrend

And if you achieve all that and you are computed to the game, you can buy Cataclysm (the latest expansion) for £25 but is sure to go down in price soon

To keep your account active you must also pay a £9 a month fee.

Tl;dr all expansions and one month game time is £44 (£19 excluding cata)

If you already have an account you could just re download it and put game time on your account. Although if you didn't have any characters with a significant level you could just buy it again for £4 on amazon and make a new account rather than paying £9 for a month on your current account .

If you want to gain 3x experience for a 60 day period I can recruit you and as long as we are near each other we will power level so hard. Bear in mind if you want to play with me you'll have to get the eu version of the game

What are you talking about? My main is geared for at least ICC 10 heroic (5600 or so GS) but I have never really exceeded 1.5 hours a day...Then again it took me around a year or so to get him to 80

 

5600 isn't really that much .
I was talking about 6k+ pve and pvp. =/
