A young blind boy is being tucked into bed by his mother. The mom says "Now Billy, pray really hard tonight and tomorrow, your wish will come true!". Billy says, "Ok mommy." and goes to sleep. The next morning, Billy wakes up and screams "MOMMY! I'm still blind, my wish didn't come true!", the mom answered, "I know - April Fools!"

I know a similar joke, but even more horrible.

A man and a woman got a child without hands, nor feet. Instead he got little stumps, so they called their kid 'Stumpie'.
Stumpie grows up and starts questioning why the kids at school have hands and feet. Their parents say that he will get hands and feet if he crawls 7 rounds around the kitchen table. So without thinking, he starts crawling around the table like a maniac. The next day he wakes up, but without hands nor feet. He goes to his parents to ask why. They say:"Maybe if you try it again today, you will be lucky". So he starts crawling around the table again. This goes on for a long time. After 2 weeks, the boy asks his parents:"Will I get my hands any soon?". So the parents respond with:"Sorry Stumpie, but... APRILS FOOL!!! ROFLULZ!11!!!!shift+eleven!!!1111!!!1one!1!!!!!"
