There's a lot of things. For one, I've noticed that girls like taller guys. Like I said in a previous thread, I'm only 5'5.. some girls turned me down just because of that. Turned out they were all sluts either way, so doesn't really matter. But yeah lol

Im sure you being short was not the only reason they turned you down. Also, if they were sluts then that means that you would have had a better chance with them then with a normal girl = pwnt in the face.

Now back to topic, being tall has a few advantages, and seeing as how you will soon join highschool if you are not already in it, gain respect by fighting kids much older and stronger looking then you. Since you have the advantage of being tall, you will be mucho popular if you win a fight. ALSO, play basketball =D.

Yikes, i'm in the exact same posistion as you, but i've been 6"4 since I was like 13 and a half and I'm nearly 15 now. As a couple of peope have said, beef up. I did, and i've got alot of respect now. Your also going to have to realise that in the end, you have power over anyone who is smaller than you. So don't take any shit from anyone who is smaller than you. Turn around and kick their ass. I read this report that (like shredder said) makes you subtley more dominant than anyone, and people literally and mentally look upto you. Damn I enjoyed writing this post.

I'd say start playing basketball, once you hit highschool and your good and tall, you usually get scouted out by some colleges for scholarships. talk to your parents if its ok before you commit to basketball though.

Apparently, for business and whatnot, the best height [for psychological advantage] is roughly 6'2". Any taller, and you're perceived as a "klutz" or overly-intimidating, so you have to work extra hard.

Honestly, advantages of being HUGE are quite clear-cut: you look older than you are, and you'd be a good athlete.

Cfrey already said it; begin to WORK OUT. You should probably strengthen your legs early on, because many tall people with weak quads/calves end up with horrible knee problems because of a weight-distribution issue.

So, yeah. Bulk up and play sports, and don't consider yourself a freak or anything like that because it'd be just plain stupid.

Also, on the health side of things, work on your posture. When I was 13 and 6'4, I developed scoliosis (spelling?) and now have pretty bad back problems. Always sit with you back even slightly arching in a bit.
