Lag Wtf!

Since this stupid bot blast, i've been none stop lagging. I've updated my java, and changed the video to software...but i still lagg?

Anybody help me?!

Okay so now i can get into the lobby, but not game worlds.

Things I've Tried:
1) Uninstall and re install JAVA
2) Deleted the Jagex cache from my computer
3) Tried on firefox and internet explorer...


NOTHING IS WORKING!!

 

It is probably the radiation from the blast causing giant cock-a-roaches to grow in the RS system... In other words, it is probably a bug from the update.

 

But how will i go around it? I dont know if anybody else had this problem, hence the post! Sometimes the client just goes white...after loading...its annoying!

 

Same thing is happening to me....I keep on having the window of rs crash...I need to find a solution too

 

Yeah its annoying. If nothing comes on here i will post on the RS forums...but atm im on here, so might aswell post on here :L

One of my laptops has problems similar to ones you guys are describing, another one of them doesn't. The world I am on seems to not help MUCH either.

Try on a different computer, if that doesn't help just wait it out until the risidual problems have been resolved on Jagex's end.

 

I have looked at the runescape forums, and so many people are moaning about it, but i dont wanna trapse through hundreds of posts to find a fix. Think i might wait it out tbh unless a miracle comes up.

Plus i only have the one laptop atm!

 

The game is unplayable for me right now, for reasons discussed in this thread.

 

I'm having this exact same problem man. Luckily it doesn't sound like its nearly as bad or severe as yours, but ever since the update I noticed that the game just isn't running smooth for me anymore. It is almost kind of choppy right now, and takes longer to load between loading zones.

I was thinking that without all the bots and extra traffic it might actually be faster because RS would be less congested than usual, but its the opposite. Most like the graphical changes straining my computer

 

I think the issue is with some people that since RS just changed the java that it uses, people aren't used to the lag, idk have you ever realized like when you first log in to rs its much laggier than after playing for an hour?

I've actually been lagging a lot less in game, but my login seems to take ages <<_<<
