So to fit in with my school a lot of the time when I work it is 5-9 so I must have dinner at work. I usually just have sandwiches or subway or some chit but it's getting lame. Anyone have some decent ideas for some quick meals? In the 5-9 shifts we only have a 15 minute break. Ideally it would need to be done within 5 minutes so I have 10 minutes to talk/eat.

Cheers

Back in high school when I worked at a grocery store I would live on these during my 15 minute breaks lol:

You could always try new sandwiches. Turkey and cranberry jelly is one of my favorites.

Have you tried bringing stuff in a thermos? You could bring ravioli or something which probably wouldn't be bad for something quick.

off-topic: stop saying "chit." It makes you sound like you're one of the annoying fucks from disney channel.

Buy a wok mate. Stir frys are quick and easy to do.

When I was working at the law firm (long story) I never took a lunch break and usually just snacked through the day, but when I did eat lunch it'd usually be like a can of soup or something. Have you thought about getting a small cooler and bringing left overs?

shakeology, seriously fills u up, healthy as fuck with more vitamins than you're ever gonna need, can make it in the morning and it tastes great, and makes u feel great, only 180 cals too, that is if you need to lose a couple lb's

Shakes are always good but not always that filling. There's always just something about eating that just isn't easily replaced by a shake.

I really suggest taking a couple hours over the weekend (if that), precooking a bunch of chicken breasts and other vegetables and proportioning them in separate containers and packing them for individual lunches each day. It's healthier, and turns out to be a lot cheaper. Nice thing about it is you can adjust them to your own personal tastes as well unlike popular TV dinners.

Definitely go with precooked meals such a left overs or things you prepare for those lunches. I sometimes make over portioned dinners so I will have a large amount of left overs for lunch at work. Tacos are extremely easy to make at work, just bring your meat, cheese, lettuce and sauces in containers. Bring a ziplock with like 2-4 tortillas and dig in.

Any frozen food really. TV dinners, frozen burritos, frozen pizzas, canned ravioli, ramen noodles, etc.
