Yeah, it all depends on what your goals are. Mine are to look good on the beach, yours are to lift more and gain power.

Don't get stuck on bulkmode, my friend did 4000kcal/day for six months and was shocked that while his progress on gym skyrocketed, he turned into a fatty with abs showing on his belly, looked like plastic surgery abs to me

I would scrap the meat and eat fish instead. It's generally alot healthier and has a similar amount of protein with less fat. It may taste shitty at first but look up some recipes that you like and see if you can get into the habit of eating some once or twice a week.

Thanks for the suggestion, we'll see what happens. I used to fish all the time with my dad when I was younger and liked fish, but then all of a sudden I didn't like the taste of fish anymore lol. But if I find a good recipe I'll try it out when I get my own place.

Update: Going to update my original thread with pics of my body right now to show you guys where I'm sitting at the moment. I look at the pictures and I can see that I'm pretty big even though I didn't think I was that big lol, but oh well. My biceps look kinda fat but that's because I used to lift a lot for football. And if anyone thinks I'm nuts for posting them, I don't care if people I don't know see me =]. I'll put up a picture of my prom date as well in her dress that we got at the mall on Wednesday and you'll be in shock that she's going with me haha.

Well, I think that's great that you're realizing that you need to diet and what not. Here are a few tips to help you..

-Make sure to have a balanced diet. (Protein, wheat, vitamins, exc exc)
-You should eat small intervals meals of around 8. Trust me it's good for your metabolism as you said.
-If you have an urge to eat like anything or junk food, drink water.
-Also, on the water note.. You should be drinking like 8 glasses of water daily. It helps flush toxins and cleanses your body.
-Exercise, exercise, and more exercise. It helps a lot if you do it every day, either walking for an hour to jogging for a few hours. Anything helps.
-Make a schedule of when you eat and exercise and stick to it!
-Seek motivation from anyone, you will need a lot of it!

Hope those will help you! Best of luck to you! :)

Yeah I'm doing most of that already, I just lack motivation from other people, but I think I should be good.

    Thanks for the tips =]
