I think sythe should show the 5 latest threads made somewhere on the homepage or even on a separate page would be nice
I say this because many people are interested on the latest things that are happening/being posted and also could reduce spam.

Yea I agree. I think it should have filter options so people may select/deselect board/sections.

The majority of these threads would be in various sections of the market. I don't know how many people are interested in all sections of the market instead of the specific things they're here to buy/sell. As far as filtering by forum goes, that makes this a major modification rather than a trivial one... I'll think about it more.

I don't think anyone would be interested in every market section because that's too much for one person obviously. However, with the filter in place people are able to select which sections/specific boards they wish to see the latest threads of. Yea I'm sure this will require some coding but It sure is worth it imo

The market sections should definitely be excluded from this list if a user-defined filter is too idealistic. I would also support a list of 100+ threads ranked top down in highest to lowest popularity.

Also, if spammers choose to target these popular threads they would be more epeditiously reported due to the quantity of views.

enable spammers?
If anything it will increase post activity overall around the forum. There will be spammers regardless of this.
