Report/post/reason that got you banned: A security flaw was pointed out in my proxy site, that could cause users to be able to gain access to other peoples proxies.

I had posted an announcement open on Tribot ( I am the moderator "Montreal" ) telling any users with issues to contact me for a refund. I can't find it now, but I can have reputable people vouch it was there such as YoHoJo if needed.

You can see here another moderator linking someone to the refund announcement I had posted, the is the best evidence I could get to show it as it appears the announcement is fully deleted.

I also refunded Gh0sty, who was the dispute poster on here. Which you can see below (might want to hide it, as it has sensitive info)

Refund is only for $8.67 because I had sent him money back from the $10 previously as a discount.

The user also recently tricked my worker into giving him another refund telling him that I had never refunded him which was a lie. I think that constitutes some type of scam. I can provide evidence if you guys are interested in pursuing it.

Anything you weren't banned for but want to confess to now: No, I've never done anything bad on this site, and never intend nor intended to.


Detailed description of the events that took place and why you think we should forgive you:

A security breach occurred on my site, when this was pointed out I instantly closed it down to avoid any users being at risk. Almost no one was effected as it was still rare to be able to use the breach. I was investigating how to fix this and what would be the best course of action as to refund and identify user with issues as well as waiting to come up with a solution with the rest of the tribot staff. During this time, I did respond to disputes on here/post an appeal, but everything I had written seemed to fall on deaf ears.

I never scammed anyone, the only thing I truly am guilty of is taking a month to sort out everything and refund the users effected. To that, I do apologize for but it was not an easy situation and it took time to figure out how to go about the process. I never knowingly put any of my customers at risk, and as soon as I had seen the flaw, I took the site down to avoid any further sales until I could fix the issue (which I now have)

I feel I should be forgiven because I truly did not scam anyone, and was penalized for my slow restitution efforts which I admit to, and apologize for and a security breach which I never intended. I apologize for this, and promise that going forward there will never be a re-occurrence of this incident.

Support this, from what I see you have handled a tough business situation like a pro. Good on you.

 

Moving this to the USL where your pardon will be considered for an additional week and you will be unbanned if you have a majority of 60% voting to unban you.
