Just call them regardless. You have to be a man and actually work it out yourself. It won't necessarily put their credit on the line and you can't be afraid to tell them

Oh gosh what you kids talking about. I have like $500 in debt I havn't payed for two years. Is this going to ruin my credit?

 

If they have your phone number/name address etc, It can.

The problem is my paypal is under my fathers name. So their going to put it on his credit.

Just tell them what has happened. Worst thing that can happen is you have to pay that $500 either way, so you may as well just give it a shot.

 

Once I was in the debt for almost 300$ after a transaction was done about a month ago.
3 days after the transaction, he put a paypal claim on it, and I won...a month later he did a unauthorized payment claim. I sent paypal an email explaining everything, and about 2 weeks later my account was at $0, so I was no longer in debt, but I never got a email from paypal stating the claim was over or anything, so i really dont know what happened.

 

im with tyson, if you tell them the truth, they can maybe track that credit card and see where it leads to, and if its a fraud or stolen ccard, well whoever had it is fucked twice as much.

if worst comes to worst, you can always try sex trafficking, or go on deal or no deal, or who wants to become a millionaire and become a paypalvictim milllionaire.

Yea, Debt collecting Agencies wont do anything, don't worry about it, they would have to go through a lot of trouble to take legal action.

 

Theoretically, working at minimum wage ($7.25/Hour), you will have to work a total of 70 Hours or so.

It may seem like a long time, but in reality, it's only about 2 Weeks of work if you're doing an 8-hour work day.

Good luck on the issue, and I think you should really get in contact with PayPal first.

What to tell you parents?
Tell them in a mature manner that the ordeal will be resolved, and there's nothing to worry about.

 

Like they said, if they did a charge back, ask to go to court. your not gonna get in shit, infact, THEY CAN. you could probably get 4x your money back.

You never had a job have you? Minimum wage is different depending on where you live. You overlook finding a job and them giving you good hours. Two weeks of work due to some dumb internet mistake is a huge deal.
