$497.52 PayPal Debt?????

I speculate this is from a $400 USD paypal MM I did over a year ago, one of the users involved probably chargebacked. Leaving me with the dept.

Now What do I do, my parents are going crazy at me.

What do I tell my parents, they think their going to get a bad credit record.
MY FATHER HAS THE SAME NAME AS ME, THEREFORE HE WILL RECEIVE BAD CREDIT RECORD.

 

Jesus Christ. Same thing happened to me. I was lucky enough my bank account didnt allow over draft. Try contact paypal directly indicating that your not going to stop till the case is sorted. Threaten to take the case to court.
Also the person you traded to have used a CC he must have put legit address at the bottom that could come in handy.

 

I'll have to sell my RuneScape accounts, Guitar, etc

 

Shit, Maybe you should put a Thread up "How to prevent" and ect and ask for donations maybe people will be willing to help you.

 

It's a debt collection agency. Realistically, they're not going to take you to court. You were the victim of fraud and the debt collection agency would need to go to a GREAT EXTENT to take legal action. Just tell them you're not paying them and that Paypal has screwed you over. Debt collection agencies are simply there to scare you.

Paypal gave me a 40 dollar debt for some transaction that went twice by accident. And i only got like 25 in my bank so it gave me NSF, which i had to call around between 3 or 4 different business's till i got it settled.

I hate paypal, its a peice of shit.

I simpley replyed telling them you wont recive shit from me I didnt do fuck all take me to court for 350$ that I didnt have anyhting to do with.

There aint much they can do.. And if your under 18 you'll get a slap on da wrist even if u got charged.

Don't worry about it at all. I have almost the same amount of debt on my paypal account. It's been almost two years it has been that way.

Expect plenty of letters, emails, phone calls, and threats to sue. I assure you though they won't do anymore than that.

 

The problem now is what do I tell my parents, they think that they will get a bad credit history and crap for it.

 

This happened to me as well. I just made new email + paypal. LOL

 

Happened to me a while back, but only for about $150.

They were giving non stop phone calls to my house phone, just pissed me off, I ended up having to pay it.

Yes, you will have shit credit if you don't pay it in the time frame they give you.

ull have to do some reasearch b4 u tell them ... then after show/explane that a occurance of fraud has happened.
also with any outstanding debt if you think they will deffo take action you could ring/write and offer to pay so much a week/month this could be as little as $1 a week. then in the laws eyes you attempted to pay off outstanding debts.

They threatened legal action and bad credit when they were trying to work with me, but they also thought I was 18 at the time.. Had to pay fucking 240$.

 

How am I going to get $500.
