    Actually, they were not very popular back in the 90's, after the death of kurt, alot more people started to listen to nirvana, and now the band is just one of the most popular bands, even though there music stopped in 94, there still up there :)

    Great band.

    Although the death of Curt Cobain added to their popularity, they are a great band due to there uniqueness.
