Gaming laptop.

If the processor is single core, DO NOT get it. 2.0GHz is nothing. You may get some alright performance with a dual-core at the same speed, and Quad-Core would definitely run flawlessly.

He mentioned games that came out before Quad Cores in commercial use, meaning a quad core WON'T be more efficient.

I recommend a Dell Insipiron 1500. I got a refurbished one last Christmas (looked brand new to me), it came with 2gig Ram, 1.8 Ghz Core 2 Duo, Nvidia 8600. It ran any game over a year old fine, Crysis ran on very low detail very poorly, halo 2, Cod4 all work fine, so I assume CSS source isn't a problem. It cost me about 800$ then, which was a heck of a deal.

I bought my laptop. Not the Satellite, but a $779 HP. Still want to know if it'll run WoW and CS Source or not.

Specs:
CPU - 2 processors running - AMD Turion Dual-Core RM-70
CPU Speed - 2.0GHz
RAM - 2.7GB
Video Card - NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G

On http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/ it said only my processor didn't meet the minimum standard. I figure it would play because the minimum CPU speed for WoW is 800MHz.

Any more thoughts?

Lol that will run wow with a breeze. I have a NVIDIA 6100 nForce 405 and it runs wow at 24 fps. Your would Easily hit high 35+. CSS is a laugh so I won't even go there.. If you can play runescape you can play CSS.

Its not all about graphics cards. I would think it would be able to run it just fine... Sometimes I get told I can not run things, but I figure out I can... :/

EDIT: I ran a few tests on that site, and a few of the hardware things it said I have were wrong. It also said I did not meet recommended requirements for assassins creed, and I can run it at full graphics and a decent resolution with no lag... :/

You've convinced me. I'm getting WoW, CSS, and a few random ones I can't think of.

Thank you.

Anything less than an 8600 is going to be utter shit

You'll probably be disappointed.

24FPS on low specs is not acceptable. :/
