Alright,well, i have a pure currently with the stats of:
• 40 Attack
• 64 Strength
• 1 Prayer
• 1 Range
• 1 Defence

Ok my question is, should i get 31 pray?

It would lvl you less than if you got 40 range (Which most people get because of the bonus for some stupid reason.)
I usually get 43 prayer, but I wait until I'm med crater.

Dude all your loosing is 50k. I was lvl 65 or something with 70 str, with 31 pray, some other guy, same level had 81 str 1 pray

if u suffer in low crat, then just get strength up more, dont give in and get pray. you will reget it.

Yes, when you infact become a p2p you will mostlikely want 53 prayer in f2p though with robes you can use strenght spell and protect item (if needed). My advice would be to get get prayer, another peice of advice would be to kill hill giants and make your own bones, you gain exp and the bones + some money and other stuff.

I had a pure that was 54/55 combat (can't remember...banned for autoing =\) 40 attack 70 str 58 hits 31 pray 1 def and 1 in all the rest of the skills. He couldn't be beaten. It doesn't matter if your pure is "perfect". Most of the people you K0 will be noobs with like 24 def. I would say go for it. It saves you time.

- higher strength - rises the value of the account
- no need to worry when pray runs out

- Lack of protect item
- not useful in p2p
