Explanation of the trade: Glacier was to take an account he previously serviced of mine from Quest Cape to Achievement Diary cape + 85 construction. He estimated a time frame of 6 months and agreed upon payment of $350. Details shown below. Apollo agreed to MM the service. Glacier was provided 560m and 12 bonds to complete the service. I gave him a significant amount more GP than was required. Realistically - 60-100m would have sufficed, but in good faith I believed that he would use the additional gp for boosting his slayer experience rates with good gear. This did not happen.

How they scammed: I checked the hiscores and wiseoldman.net and noticed that nearing the end of the 5 month mark, he was way off completion and infrequently played on the account. On further investigation I found that he has been doing several hundred Callisto kills per day, totalling over 6000 in one month. None of these had any relevance to the assigned task.


When asked why the service had not been completed, he could not give me a good reason and was giving me flippant responses by replying with emojis, saying he needs 2 months more - which I did not agree to without establishing exactly what these two months would be used for, to which he also could not answer. During these talks, he continues to kill Callisto.


I have asked him why he was doing Callisto KC and he claims it was for ‘slayer tasks’ but he has not gained any slayer XP in the last 2 weeks (all data is viewable on Wiseoldman.net. I can provide the in-game name in DM to moderation on request.)


He is insisting that he is not lying, not a scammer and that he will finish the job. When I requested for him to also confirm the status of the bank, he initially refused to do so, but the Callisto KC further still keeps rising which indicates that he is still gold farming.
It would seem he has given up on the service and is using my account for goldfarming / rmt purposes now.

The next set of screenshots show the conversation I had with Glacier after finding out about the hiscores and tracking the account on wiseoldman.net You can see that he is very uncooperative, refuses to explain why it couldn’t be done and then claims he was doing Callisto “slayer tasks” for 6000 kills. The last month and sheer volume of Callisto kills totals almost 6million XP gained in combat. This can easily be verified as dishonest as we can look on wiseoldman.net and confirm that the killcount and slayer xp do not correlate with periods where he gained 2000+ callisto kills and no slayer xp.

I can see from the XP alone that the job is only around 44% completed for progress in all required skills. This also does not factor in the completion of the actual tasks required for the achievement diary once the skill experience requirements have been met. No meaningful progress has been made in a month, and the progress before that was not impressive either, especially regarding the resources he had at his disposal. Below are the most recent progress screenshots he sent me.

As for Glacier, I’d hope for him to put it right, but going off of his behavior, dishonesty and continued use of my account for his own purposes of goldfarming and RWTing, I don’t see it as something that is likely going to be remedied. I do NOT want an account that has 6000 Callisto KC on it as this is a stain on the reputation of the account. It is a known venezuelan / gold farmer method.

I’m disappointed as I’ve worked with Glacier previously on this account and had a good experience.

Glacier is now showing screenshots that the bank’s value is 133m. However he cannot explain where the other 427m has been spent.


For reference, 560m could easily take an account that has just earned the Quest cape to full max stats. I have posted below a rough ballpark of the associated costs if Glacier did the most expensive methods for each skill and the amount of XP he gained in the skills. He is also still sticking to his story that he did 6000 Callisto for ‘slayer’ despite gaining no slayer exp during the timeframes he was farming. He seems to think everyone else is very stupid to believe this when it is easy to prove on the contrary.

Finally - to disprove his claims about Callisto being for "slayer" we can have a look at this image. It's very clear to see that when he's killing Callisto, the graph never moves on slayer xp. He gained all of his slayer xp when NOT doing callisto. It's also just absurd to think he would be doing bear tasks in the first place. You need to use low level slayer masters for that. Who does Glacier think he is convincing with this? Some sythe users have pointed out that there is potentially botting Callisto going on too since 6k in a month seems crazy. Edit - On further investigation, I found that he was part of a clan and left two weeks ago. I checked the details of many of this clans members and many of them seem to have thousands of Callisto killcount in common. ️(Removed link since it shows ign)
He joined this clan two months ago and left this clan two weeks ago. I can provide a screenshot or direct any moderation to this privately if requested. Strange that he is in a group with other players farming wilderness bosses.

Fyi, I didn't agree to give you two more months, just confirming i understand and asking for clarification of the plan. I don't think it's a good idea to ever let you back on that account after what you've done.

I understand your concerns, and I respect your decision. However, I worked on this account for around 6 months, and my intention was always to complete the agreed service, not to abandon it. The 300M issue has now been repaid, and I explained that it happened because of a genuine mistake by my younger brother, not because I intended to steal anything. If you no longer want me to complete the account, then I believe it's only fair that we discuss appropriate compensation for the work I've already completed over the past 6 months. I'm willing to resolve this matter fairly and respectfully.

 

1) You had no intention of completing the job, you averaged 170k valid exp per day. You would have needed to earn over 600k valid exp per day in the required skills going forward to even complete it, playing every day. I have an in depth spreadsheet documenting every bit of XP gain, XP required and how much progress you've made towards reaching the goals. I will happily share this privately with moderation on request but cannot post it publicly due to it making the account easily identifiable.

2) You were RMTing and goldfarming on the account which is a permanent stain and blackmark on the account now. It looks incredibly suspicious to anyone who looks up the account as it is a known goldfarming method.

3) Your story has changed repeatedly throughout the entire process, originally stating everything was in the bank regarding the GP. You were logging into this account farming Callisto every day and you only suddenly noticed '300m is missing' and 'a younger brother' has taken the gold after I requested to know where the GP had gone? How would you not have noticed this? There is no younger brother. You fully intended to take this GP and claim it was for the service and continue your goldfarming operation. You even say in the 'more lies and pretending to be servicing the account' screenshots that the GP was used for, in your words - 'I'm paying GP in skills'. If it was used for skilling, how has it suddenly "shown up on your brother's" account? This still doesn't even account for all of the GP I provided you with as the account is still roughly 80 million GP short in value. Also the idea that you were paying GP for skills is contradictory because the skills that actually could be quickly levelled using GP have NOT been trained to the required levels - not even close, despite having more than enough money to do so. When I reclaimed the account and checked the bank - the bank is FULL of low value, wilderness rag gear. It is impossible for you to not have noticed that 400million was missing because of this. Furthermore what happened to the 6000 Callisto loot? Where did all of that GP you earned go? This being missing is solid proof of RWT / Misuse of the account. Surely the GP value on the account should be RAISING while you farmed Callisto if it was truly for slayer? (it wasnt, you gained next to zero xp)

4) You speak about doing Callisto for slayer and even doubled down on this. We know this was a lie, I have the proof and have posted it already in the 'Slayer XP Callisto Comparison' screenshot on the original post.

5) I must repeat myself again I CANNOT get rid of these kills from the account's record and will forever make it look suspicious.

6) Regarding bond time - you've wasted a considerable amount of time in bonds, a cost incurred by myself. Based on the records on wiseoldman.net you didn't spend nearly enough time playing the game. When you were playing the game you were very rarely actually contributing towards the progression of the end goal. Hence why none of the achievement diaries have yet to be completed and the account is still significantly under levelled. This, in combination with the poor experiences I've had dealing with you, the contradictions, the gold farming and permanent stain on the account, the attempted theft of my GP, wasting a great deal of time, money (in bonds) and ruined the account you were working on, I believe it's unreasonable to grant you access to the account again or provide any compensation for this.

I am very open to discussing openly with the moderation team further and would like to seek resolution.

I never intended to abandon the service. I understand my progress was slower than expected, which is why I asked for additional time to complete the work instead of disappearing.
I did not intentionally steal your GP or misuse your account for personal gain. The 300M has already been returned, and I explained how that mistake happened. I understand why you are skeptical, but it was not done with malicious intent.
I was doing Callisto because I believed it would contribute towards my slayer goals. If that was inefficient or not what you expected, then that was my mistake, not an attempt to scam you.
I accept responsibility for not completing the account within the original timeframe, but I do not agree with the accusations that I intentionally planned to steal from you or permanently damage your account.
I am willing to cooperate fully with the moderation team and provide any information they request. I would like this dispute to be resolved fairly based on the available evidence rather than assumptions about my intentions.

You gold farmed Callisto, sold my gold, sold the gold you made from Callisto and keep pretending it was for the purpose slayer even though I've provided every evidence proving otherwise.
You gained 1000 Slayer XP in the month where you killed 6000 Callisto and you will continue to ignore this evidence. You also pulled the 'My brother took the gold' after initially explaining to me that you had spent 400m on skilling. Surely nobody will believe this farce. You are a bad actor and continue to TRIPLE down with your false claims.
You cannot 'disagree' with factual evidence.

 

Since you cannot read charts, I'll put them side by side for you so you can understand your own lie and how silly it is to be triple downing on this.
I don't know what's worse, the slayer callisto lie or the pretending your brother took the gold or thinking you'd get away with all of it. Worst scam attempt ever.

How did you earn a measly 2320 total slayer xp in this timeframe when you killed Callisto 4405 time? I thought you were farming Callisto for slayer. As if someone actually trying to level slayer would be doing bear tasks in the first place.

 

First, I accept that I did not complete the service within the expected timeframe. My progress was slower than expected, and that is why I requested additional time instead of abandoning the project.

Regarding the GP, I have already returned 300M in an effort to resolve the dispute. I understand why the missing GP caused concern, and I accept responsibility for that issue.

The original agreement did not contain any written terms prohibiting Callisto or requiring a specific training method. My Terms of Service also did not state that every hour had to be spent on a particular activity. However, I understand that the account owner believes my approach was unacceptable.

I disagree with the claim that I accepted the job with the intention of stealing or permanently damaging the account. If that had been my intention, I would not have continued working on the account for months or returned 300M after the issue was raised.

I acknowledge that mistakes were made during this service, but I ask the moderators to distinguish between poor performance and an intention to scam. They are not the same thing.

If you don't want me to complete the service anymore, then please pay me for the work I've already completed. I finished around 44% of the agreed service, so I believe a fair partial payment is reasonable.

I will respect the moderators' decision and am willing to cooperate fully to reach a fair resolution.

 

Regarding the loot, some of the GP was used during the service and 300M has already been returned. If there is still a discrepancy, I am willing to discuss it with the moderation team and work towards a fair resolution. I never intended to permanently deprive the account owner of their account, and I am prepared to cooperate fully with moderation.

 

I respectfully disagree with using the wiki average loot value as the amount owed. An average is not proof of the actual GP generated on this account. Callisto loot is heavily RNG-based, and without the actual bank history or trade logs, it is not possible to conclude that exactly 934M GP was obtained or removed.
I have already returned 300M GP and have explained how the remaining GP was used during the service. If the staff believes additional evidence is required, I am willing to cooperate. However, I do not believe it is fair to calculate liability based solely on a wiki average rather than the actual evidence from this account.
I would also like the moderators to consider that approximately 44% of the agreed work was completed, which the account owner has acknowledged. If the account owner no longer wishes for me to complete the remaining service, then I respectfully request payment for the completed portion of the work.
Based on the agreed price of $350, 44% equals $154. I ask the moderators to consider this as part of a fair resolution.

 

For the record, 300million GP does not cover the amount initially stolen from the account.
Even after I equated and projected for some skilling expenditure the account was still short roughly 400million GP.
The 300million GP only partially covers the initial lost value with somewhere in the region of 80-100million GP still being missing.
To clarify, this 80-100million GP has not been repaid. This is with me vastly overestimating how much cost would be invested per skill levelled and XP gained, assuming expensive and high XP rate methods, despite there being no evidence of buyable skills being levelled to a reasonable degree.
Which means I'm still owed somewhere in the region of 80-100million GP from the initially provided GP. The amounts mentioned above are not inclusive of the GP valuation made by Techie as that GP was provided prior to Glacier taking on the account.

 

I would like to clarify one point regarding the Callisto calculations. The assumption that every kill was a solo kill with full average loot is incorrect. These were not solo kills; they were completed in a group/clan setting, where loot and profit are not equivalent to the solo average. Additionally, the account has 5,791 Callisto kills, not 6,400. Therefore, I do not believe it is accurate to calculate the alleged amount owed by multiplying the solo average loot value from the wiki by the total kill count. I respectfully ask the moderators to base any calculations on the actual evidence available rather than estimates or assumptions.

 

This is a different account for 'Callisto KC Loot'. By looking at it, you can calculate the average.

I do not have the RuneLite loot tracker or exact loot logs for the account anymore. Therefore, I do not believe it is accurate to calculate an exact repayment amount using the OSRS Wiki average. Without the actual loot data from the account, the exact amount cannot be determined. I ask that any decision be based on evidence specific to this account rather than estimated averages.

 

The claimant himself sent me a hiscores screenshot showing 5,791 Callisto KC. If the password had already been changed at that point, then I no longer had access to the account. Therefore, any Callisto kills beyond 5,791 must have been completed after I lost access. I ask the claimant to explain who performed those additional KC(6.4K) and when they were done.
