Amount scammed: 2k+ ironman bought from them a while back, its #2 here

Discord ID + Unique Discord ID: as per their vouch thread

"Owner and founders
Owner:G2KIM#8156 UID 556686423475093506 | @G2KIM | WE DONT PM
Founder:krimen#5853 UID 543026428279783425 | @Krimen | WE DONT PM

Proof that it's their Discord: imgur.com
Explanation of the trade: bought an ironman from them a while back, went smooth and even spent over $150 on extra boosting on the same account.

How they scammed:woke up yesterday and saw the account not being able to log in, i spoke with them and it said someone turned it into a jagex account and that they dont have access to the account. and now theyre being very sus and bare respond to my messages anymore..

To address the comments made on Discord:

  1. I don’t want to continue this discussion on Discord. Given the sensitivity of the issue, all communication will remain here on Sythe.
  2. The account was advertised and sold on your donator account, not by “Elio.”
    – You negotiated the sale with me.
    – You collected the payment.
    – I negotiated all boosting with you guys.
Whether Elio is the “original owner” is irrelevant. The seller who posts the thread, negotiates, and completes the trade is the responsible party on Sythe.
  3. Regarding the accusation that I might have recovered the account:
    – You can easily verify through login history that I never logged into the Jagex account system.
    – I never changed the email, the bank pin, or the recovery information. The registered email remains yours.
    – If I had somehow “stolen” the account, you would be able to recover it easily since you are the original owner and still have all the account creation info.
  4. I opened the Sythe report 35 hours after losing access, not immediately.
I gave you the benefit of the doubt, waited for replies, and only escalated after being ignored.
Compare that with how quickly you respond when I’m paying for boosting.
  5. To resolve this properly:
    – If you can recover the account back to its original login, I am happy to close this report and walk away.
    – If not, then someone on your side recovered the account after a month of having full access to it.

I’m not here to argue. I just want the account restored. If you recover it, the ticket is closed. If you can’t, then this becomes a straightforward case.

I didn't negotiate the sale with you. You're free to read the ticket and see that I never gave you a price, never said whether I accepted any offer, and never said anything about the services.
My only role was to receive the payment (depending on the type of payment I receive).
And I had no idea that you didn't request, as you should have, to change the email address so you could control which emails are received. When I spoke with them, I said it was something they should have done to avoid these kinds of misunderstandings.
You bought the account from D'guzman Services, from elio_be, not from me.
Yes, I know you're talking about the Sythe account, and I'm telling you that I shouldn't be involved,
@G2Kim, since I didn't negotiate anything with you.

And as you mentioned, I told him that his only job was to recover the account and give it to you.

Yes, G2Kim, we did not speak directly on Discord.
However, your Sythe account is the account that advertised the sale.
Your Discord server (D'guzman Services), which you own and manage alongside your team (Kremlin and Elio), is where all communication, confirmation, and post-sale boosting took place.

So from my perspective, the transaction was with Guzman Services, not with three independent individuals.
If I’m mistaken about how responsibility works on Sythe when a discord server account lists something on behalf of their team, feel free to clarify. I assumed that when an account with your name, your discord server, and your reputation advertises a sale, the responsibility falls under that umbrella.

To clarify a few points:

  1. We did confirm the sale via Sythe DMs. We verified your Discord and Sythe matched to avoid dealing with imposters.
    That confirmation came from you.

  2. You’re correct that the OSRS account itself belonged to Elio. My issue is not with who the “original owner” is. My issue is that your team, on your server, using your reputation, handled the ad, the negotiation follow-ups, the boosting, and everything else.

  3. If you prefer that I escalate the ticket to a different Sythe account instead of yours, tell me which one. I’m happy to tag whoever Sythe considers responsible. But the ad was posted on your donator account, so from my side I followed Sythe procedures correctly.

  4. As you confirmed, recovering the account should be straightforward. If you guys recover it, everything is resolved cleanly. I will close the report immediately.
To be clear, I’m not hostile toward you or your team. You guys have always been cooperative and the boosting services were professional. I have nothing against any of you.

I only opened the dispute 35 hours after losing access because the responses on Discord suddenly went from immediate (when paying $$$) to silence, so I wanted everything documented in one place for my protection and yours.

I’m not in a rush, but it is unfortunate to lose membership time and delay the sailing content I planned to do on the account. I hope this gets resolved soon for everyone’s sake.

I’ll leave the rest to the Sythe staff to review and decide, based on the full context.

Thanks, and I hope we can wrap this up smoothly.

Of course, since this happened, I've indicated that the only thing to do is recover the account and return it to them, and the last thing they said via live chat was that they would respond via email within 72 hours.

So all that's left is to wait.

email received regarding transfer to Jagex Launcher: https://i.imgur.com/ToFtidO.png
jagex's response when trying to recover it https://i.imgur.com/Lu3uv6x.png

Hi, Unfortunately, the response to the account recovery request was that, since they believe the account was played by someone else with the owner's knowledge and the owner failed to take the necessary steps to secure it, it was intentional. Therefore, they decided to ban the account to avoid any future disputes.

We have sold at least 10-20 accounts without any problems over the three years we've been working together, and this is the first time anything like this has happened.

From the moment I realized what had happened, I told Krimen and Elio that the only thing to do for now was to recover the account (this conversation I had with them happened on Thursday) and Elio also sent the recovery request that same day and although we did not respond to him in the ticket we were already working on it but we could only wait for the response from Jagex.

The message I sent him, where I asked how we could know that he wasn't the one who stole the account and then reported the theft, I'm not saying it simply to blame him.

According to the email, the account was transferred to the Jagex Launcher at 1:47 AM (GMT-3), and he indicated he didn't have access to the account at 3:22 AM (GMT-3).Reviewing the times he sent messages to us on Discord, either to Elio or on the server, it's possible he hijacked the account and then reported the theft later.

It's common knowledge that to transfer a regular account to Jagex Launcher, you only need access to the account itself. You don't need access to the email. It also strikes us as odd that the bank for the account wasn't mentioned at any point, since the account had a (scythe of vitur) among other important things and it is an iron account where everything must be done manually.

We've always remained a small team (we've known each other for over 10 years) because we trust each other and have always been a small server that doesn't offer many services. We saw an opportunity in selling accounts, and we've had very few problems, and we've always resolved them.
Other times, when accounts aren't on Jagex Launcher, I've been clear with the buyer that if, for any reason, the account is "hijacked" to a Jagex Launcher, we would consider this a self-hijacking, as I know it's a way to scam account sellers because it's so easy and simple. And since I now work in real life (IRL), I'm not as attentive to everything on the server as I used to be (that's why Elio bumps the threads), among other things.

In my personal opinion, this is a deal that was poorly handled by both parties, and there's nothing left to do but learn from it. I don't know what decision they'll make, but if they decide that we should issue a refund, refunding that amount will take a considerable amount of time, so it wouldn't be instantaneous. Our position is clear: he, or someone he knows, hijacked the account and is now trying to get a refund after most likely emptying and selling the bank or transferring it to a regular account.

Not long ago, someone interested in buying an account was quite worried about the account getting blocked and that trying to recover it would result in it being banned. In the end, no agreement was reached, but now I see what they meant.

I understand that this shouldn't turn into a war of words where we blame each other, etc. If you need a message from us, just let me know and I'll reply as soon as I can.

This is very unfortunate, and I also didn’t expect this to turn into a ban. Just to clarify one point clearly: the idea that I “self-hijacked” the account simply isn’t true. The last person who logged in before everything happened was your team during the boosting session. I went to sleep, woke up, tried to log in, and couldn’t, so it makes zero sense to assume I somehow hijacked it after you finished boosting.

Relying on jagex recovering the account hijacking would not guarantee any control or stability anyway, so I had nothing to gain from something like that.

I’m not trying to escalate this or create a back-and-forth. I’ve said before that my experience with you all was positive until this situation, and I don’t doubt that you feel the same frustration on your side.

At this point, the account is banned and the situation is out of both our hands. I’ll leave the rest to Sythe staff to review and decide as they see appropriate based on the full context.

Hello @kwmsaj I regret to inform you that the outcome of this report is that, @peluchwxd and company fulfilled their end of the trade by giving you access to the account and the content that goes with it. Your account was then linked to a jagex account (there is no way of knowing who did this), They then submitted a recovery request to return the account to you, then the account was subsequently banned for essentially too much account sharing or a "Heavily Contested account" as jagex put it. They essentially did everything possible to return the account to you thus,

Unfortunately we can not hold the seller viable for bans post account sale, I am sorry for your loss.

Fair enough.

Just wondering, since the email was still linked to their personal email, they must have gotten the email that the account has been changed from a legacy and linked to a jagex account. Just curious to see when that was done. Could that be shared please?

Also do you have any advice on what we can do with jagex? Is a second recovery attempt worth it if even possible?

  • Jagex response to recovery implies they are not OO. Anyone who created an account and played the initial gameplay can easily prove OO status. This on its own merits a full refund
  • See attached when OO attempts recovery imgur.com
  • Upon purchase, account ownership never transferred to me. Only access to the account with no rights to password change, auth, etc. they were responsible for account security which they failed
  • This verdict sets precedence that any seller selling account with lifetime warranty, as long as registered email remains in their possession, that they can change password, wipe the bank clean for an extra profit, send in a recovery attempt and absolve themselves of any responsibility. If that’s the goal, fair game.
  • I am asking for a second verdict please.

@Sythe

Hi, you could have requested a change of email address to one of your own at any time, and you could have also requested a password change. This was up to you since you were the account owner.

Why do you want to blame us for not keeping your account secure if you didn't even take the necessary precautions from the beginning?

The truth is, you keep trying to blame us when, as I mentioned, it's a poorly handled agreement on both sides, and both you, I, and elio/krimen need to learn from this.

And to make it perfectly clear:
You don't need email access at any point to transfer your account to Jagex Launcher.

If this matter has already been resolved, I would like to request the closure of this case.

Doesn’t matter what you do or not. If he’s OO, no matter what you do, he can always recover it. You trusted him.

Simple question is, why have Jagex not been able to identify him as the OO?

It does matter why you chose to blame us for this, and why it was your responsibility to request the necessary changes to obtain ownership.

Why would Jagex give you privileged information about who the account owner is if it's confidential and personal information?

@kwmsaj I know this isn’t the result you were hoping for, but securing your own account making sure you are the only one with access is your responsibility. There is no way to know who did what on the account as you at no point to the account into your full control. But the fact a recovery attempt was successfully submitted and responded to proves that they did not lie about the original owner so that claim is also denied.

Once again I’m sorry for you loss, in this very rare case where Jagex took a stand against this account sale/transfer we cant hold the seller responsible after the fact.
