Abortion?

I am mixed on abortion, on one hand i think everyone deserves to live. It's the mother and fathers fault for bringing a child to this world, so why should the baby pay the ultimate price. Here is where the conflict arises, what if a women is raped or worse, rape by a family member and gets pregnant. That is why I go pro abortion but in certain cases.
Why would the baby have rights?
Also, if it has a right to life, how could you support murdering it in cases of rape?

Well, i think it isnt right. Everyone, even if not born, deserves a chance. If you dont think that, then your not very caring. If it wasnt the girls choice to get pregnant, then she shouldnt have to, if she made the choice, she should have to deal with birth. Its no different then killing an innocent 1 year old, because now your just killing them before they even have a chance of have a life.
A fetus is quite different from a one year old, physiologically speaking.

What is your point? A baby is a baby as soon an its cells divide in its mother. Are you condoning then the killing of retards or (mind my terminology but) vegetables. Just because they don't contribute to society yet, or because they can't contribute to society? That is sick.
And dropkick are you stupid?? How can you compare a human fetus to that of a animal. So what if you cannot distinguish if it is a baby yet by looking at it. Animals do not have a conscience, they don't know right from wrong. Animals aren't going to grow up and help society by making a cure for cancer. You cannot compare an animal to a human being. (I know I am implying that the baby would grow up to be smart there, and I know that is not always the case.) But would you kill someone like I said before if he or she was retarded or gay? I sure wouldn't. That is sick and wrong.

I don't see why people waste so much time worrying about this issue. It really shouldn't be up to discussion. Think about the harm done by an abortion: NONE. An abortion does not make the woman infertile - she can have another child when she is ready or by normal, planned circumstances. Killing a fetus? What's wrong with that? I'm guessing you don't support stem cell research too, yet you make all this bullshit about growing up and helping society? Why is it right to force a female to raise a child, thus harming her potential influence on society, or undergo the physical pain of having a baby only to have the emotional pain of not being able to raise it yourself?

Abortion is not right at all. i feel strongly against taking someone's life. even if you cant take care of it, im sure a loving family will adopt it.

I agree and disagree with it. I think, if a woman is raped or will die from having the baby, then they may choose abortion. But i firmly disagree with someone that has sex, gets pregnant and has an abortion. They should have the kid and at least put it up for adoption. In my eyes, they are getting away with murder.
It is nothing to do with contribution to society, but rather, rationality. Non-rational beings do not have rights.

I would have to agree with abortion. I mean, it's another child in this already overpopulated world. If we stop having children then we will come to lower number of humans and our food supply will be enough for us to survive.

Is overpopulation really a huge problem? Is terminating fetus' a good way of combating it? Why not kill all old people or mental retards that basically do nothing but take up space, so to speak? I'm just curious - I am pro-choice, but not for this reason.

Its pretty obvious that you know nothing about pregnancy. Your skin cells and general imune system is a lot less efficient when pregnant.
And if theres a tumour in your stomach as well as a half-developed baby its makes it almost impossible to operate on the tumour - especially at the stage she was at. The baby would have also been deformed. The tumour would have stopped the baby growing in her uterus after a few months - which would have caused a miscarridge very late in the pregnancy which puts her life at risk

Are you pro-choice or pro-life? Because if you're pro-life, then you'd be condoning "murder" in some circumstances and not others. And if you're pro-choice, then that's okay - but women with cancer can still obviously have children... it's not right to make someone HAVE to have an abortion, is it?

I agree with it if it is a child that is underage. They can't be bothered with that much of a change in their life, balancing school/work/a child would not be easy at all. Would cause alot of stress.
i agree with it.. as the person who is having the baby can do what she likes with it, she might not be old enough to have a baby!
i've seen cases where girls that are only 14 have gotten raped and pregnant.. and they wont tell their parents, now thats something to think about.

Its totally wrong. So you say its okay to kill a baby. Look the girl had sex. she put it upon her self. Sex is for reproduction. Not for you to have some pleasure. Killing the baby is murder. I mean the baby has no choice if he/she wants to die.And you don't let it have its say.

Well, I can agree that baby has no rights, but does that make it rational in the aspects of killing it?
And you most certainly may use sex for pleasure, but not if you are going to have a baby to be born, and later decide to kill its "irrational" state of being.
Abortion is just wrong. If you decide to have Sex, and you don't want to have a baby...
