Whoa. Somehow I feel we're about to hit on a really touchy subject. I *personally* believe that it is not wrong to kill an animal in a humane way, for reasons I can explain later if people are interested. However, an inhumane method of killing is one thing we really have to avoid. And somehow, I feel like forcing a teenager or rape victim to raise the child, or put it up for adoption the day it's born, will ultimately result in an inhumane method of death.

Are you asking "why shouldn't we kill animals?" or "why should we kill animals humanely, as opposed to inhumanely?"
 
I do not agree. Well, under some Surcomestances:
If you are raped, you may have an abortion.
If the baby has very serious mental problems, it may be Aborted.

You spelt circumstances wrong.

Can they tell if the baby will have mental problems before it's 12 weeks old?

What if a girl is 15 and is still going to school, do you think it's right for her to have an abortion?

I think we have every right to kill animals, barring they are not near extinction. They're good food, and since they are not rational beings, they are not capable of feeling emotional loss because of a loss of a member of their herd (cows, anyways). Now, if the death is quick and painless; who is being harmed? Nobody. [for cows] The herd does not recognize the loss of a member in its group, and the cow being killed does not feel pain. What is the actual loss it undergoes? Nothing. Stupid argument, not even going to try tbh.
 
I used to be against it, but it depends on the sitution.

I personally believe that abortion should be used if extreme cases like, underage kids having babies (from not wrapping their tools), or a women being rapped up in some alley...

Why would you want to bring a child into the world without being able to care for it, and then having him/her live on the street.

I thought I'd just show you what an 8 week old abortion looked like.
 
i dont agree with it because its killing another human that is yet to be brought in this world, idc about what ppl think of what i say, its just wrong because that child could have had a life, think of this, what if your own mother aborted (idk if thats how you say it) you... would you even be looking at this forum right now? lulz nah, and its just like a murder, and its still a life EVEN THOUGH ITS A PART OF THE LADY -.- and by the way, the child does need a choice even though its not born.. like what if you right now were about to fall off a cliff and you were in a cage and your mom is like, i dont want this thing, its a waste of money, and pushes you off even though your saying 'please do not', hah, i think people wouldnt wana be in a situation like that, but its the same thing as abortion >.<!!!

I hate blood :S I guess he was just trying to repulse abortion supporters or something, I'm not quite sure. Eww, either way. I think this debate basically comes down to whether or not unborn babies, with potential to become rational, deserve the same rights as already born babies or not. Agreed?

So every time you're jacking off, since you're killing millions of potential babies, each that will have its own genetic code, are you violating someone's rights?

Rofl, how is it the same situation as abortion? You can't think as a fetus. You can't be rational as a fetus. You don't feel pain as a fetus, emotional or physical. How can it make a choice if it's not rational?

sorry, im not american ;) . but a fetus deserves rights to grow up because it is going to turn into a human, just like everyone else, and in some paper in the government it said everyone is equal and since a fetus is already a developing human, its got rights :nuts:

no lolz, idk how jakin off came into this, but still its only a sperm cell, no soul or heartbeat, so its not bad i guess, but when its already a developing human its a soul and its somebody already that has a heart beat and lives :) . so yes, it does deserve rights, and no its not personal opinion on both of my posts, there actual thoughs. =|

But a sperm cell is still a potential human being regardless. Millions of potential children die regardless. Therefore, you are potentially murdering millions yourself. Did you stop and think this?

I honestly don't see the problem is. If its not able to live without maternal life support, then as far as I'm concerned it isn't deserving of rights, and abortion is an excellent option.
