    Explanation of the trade: So I bought an account from these guys, was assurred there was 0 chance of recovery as all accounts are made inhouse however a week after their "warranty" expired I lose access to my account. They also said that they dont have any of the original information as it was a "Throwaway" gmail and they have thousands of them, but why wasnt i given it when I bought the account if it was just a throwaway, and when I asked for the original email they said "They dont have it anymore" Like I know Im not a big time seller but surely if you were you'd keep records of all sales you've ever made for cases like this?
    How they scammed: Account Recalled a week after warranty expires? They say it is my fault somehow and can't even assist in giving me the original information of the account even though they apparently made it "in-house". They said it could be for a few reasons but after doing copious amounts of research this usually only happens when there is a stolen account on the jagex launchher and the OO has recalled, it disabled the jagex account the char is on and moves them onto a different one at request of OO

    Sorry I just noticed on their OG post they said imgur.com, All launcher emails will be provided to the buyer,However they did not give me the original email as they said Id have to transfer it to mine and now they conveniently cant find the original email?

    Hi there @SixKirst

    It seems that the account is "disabled" and we weren't provided a reason for it being disabled but I believe it has something to do with RWT.

    Requesting the screenshots be hidden, as they are showing personal information about myself that I sent to the buyer to assist in an account recovery.

    Just to confirm that the account has not been recovered.

    Seller purchased the account on 30th November 2024. Our TOS which the buyer has screenshot clearly show the warranty on accounts being a single month.

    The seller opened a ticket on 12th January 2025 to report that the account had been disabled. The buyer was offered support for them to submit an account recovery. Including personal information, which he has gladly posted on sythe... Prick. This wasn't required by me to do as it was outside our TOS but tried to help him.

    The buyer submitted the recovery and nothing else has been said in the chat, yet now a report has been made.

    all known information was provided to the buyer in the chat as you will see. after the warranty, we only keep track of the discord username & account ticket

    Just to add that the buyer also tried to claim that $400 in items was on the account.

    With the current price of GP that would be over a 3B UIM bank.

    It would look like the buyer is attempting to scam us. unless he has proof to post from obtaining 400$ wealth on an UIM in the last 6 weeks.

    Also Id like to ask why you offered a refund and then instantly look it back and edited your reply,. Honestly I dont care about the money, I literally spent 10+ hours a day grinding, if the account was banned for rwt or something it wouldnt be in the high scores, also in regards to the items, I told you before that I origiinally wanted a GiiM but didnt realise whene i bought it was a UiM but you couldn't exchangee so i turned it into a GiM instead and started grinding out on it, I can get all the calculations of the items maybe it wasnt exactly $400 and it was exaggeraated but iti waas a lot of tiime and hard work, bowfaa, fang, so many hours of grrinding, 500m bank

    A Sythe Mod or Admin with knowledge of the Jagex Account system will handle this case.

    I have no idea what a disabled account is, I've never seen that. I can only think that it's due to breaking the game rules or it was requested to be disabled as posted HERE on Jagex's website.

    I've never seen one of those rwt perm locks, but thanks for clarifying. Wouldn't that have happened a month ago when I first bought the account, It's just a little suspicious that it happens a week after my warranty expired

    @SixKirst @Keith can either of you provide screenshots of the trade regarding the Jagex launcher email address that the account was to be transferred onto?

    On the original selling thread, @Keith does state that Jagex launcher email can be provided, but they do also state that the account can be merged onto your own Jagex launcher email.

    Yeah it isn't much but I do have a screenshot of this, it's just them changing the email on the Jagex account, I'm not sure what merging is but all they did was add my email

    @SixKirst merging would mean you are importing the account onto your existing email, as opposed to the alternative they stated on the thread of giving you the original email that the account was linked to for the Jagex launcher.

    @SixKirst is the following timeline accurate?


    • @SixKirst agreed to the ToS stating that @Keith would assist with recovering the account in the event of it being locked for one month (warranty ended on December 30, 2024.)
    • On January 12, 2025 @SixKirst opened a ticket in the discord server to let @Keith know that the account was disabled.

    For further clarification it appears that Jagex will disable accounts due to a number of reasons, one of which includes the suspicion of an account being traded as seen in this report.

    In the above mentioned report, the buyer reported the account was disabled and after the seller submitted an appeal, Jagex informed them that after manually reviewing the account it was determined that the account was going to be banned for being purchased/sold, so accounts being disabled for RWT can happen are not always instantaneous.


    However, regardless of the reasoning behind the account being disabled the warranty period that was agreed to is expired so we would not be able to require @Keith to issue a refund or assist with the appeal.

    It has also been noted that @Obbytankacc did provide additional information to assist you with the appeal, despite being outside of the warranty period. It is an unfortunate situation but following through will the appeal with the information you have will be your best plan of action at this point.
