Explanation of the trade: We had agreed on a TOB package order on the 15th of April. He said the order will be finished within 3-4 bonds. 1.5 months according to @TheGlacier.com. This however was not fulfilled as promised. In May things started changing. His communication got worse and he would constantly give me promises to receive an update and it would take days before he would actually provide said update. The progress took a nose dive and the client has been very frustrated (and understandably so) and it was quite hard to get any info from Glacier on what is happening. It wasn't until the 17th (2 months and 2 days after the job was assigned) that I had to reassign it because the work progress showed no improvement and it was quite hard getting a hold of glacier if at all.
How they scammed: Unfinished work, failed promises.

* More than a week passes by, he gained 69-70 mining and 15-68 thieving. That is as slow as you can get. I also warned him that if he doesn't improve in the next three days, the job will be reassigned. I didn't get a hold of him at all at this point. My manager also checked the accounts and there loads of quests, skills and requirements missing and far from being done.

Today he messaged me and asked for his payment. In my opinion he is not entitled to any compensation for not fulfilling the work within the agreed time. All the screenshots show the poor progress he's made and there was no signs of him of finishing the job any time soon.
Just the icing on the cake, it took him 4-5 days to realize he was kicked out of the server and the passwords were changed. This + the fact that the client reported that the last login on the accounts was "2 days ago" when he changed the passwords shows that he had no intention of finishing this anytime soon. With all the evidence provided, is he entitled to any form of compensation? Looking for a staff member to settle this as I believe he broke the TOS and other agreements that were made which does not entitle him to any payment.

 

Hey everyone, I hope everyone is doing well. First of all I would like to start by saying that he said that the account will not be logged in for two days.
This was the reason

If I were in the channel, I could show you how he tried to force me I do this work and after listening to his prices, I didn't do his job and he threatened me that I would kick you out of the server if you didn't do it. I didn't even reply to him for about 5/6 days because I didn't want this account
If he thinks about it, he will realize that the 3/4 memberships I mentioned were regular void, but not elite void .

When I completed his other levels, I told him that elite void will not be done by me, regular void I will do it to you. So he forced me and raised the price too, if you build it as soon as possible I will pay you more. I was celebrating eid and back then they changed password and almost elite void requirements were about to be completed.
Own use gold & membership I was trying my best and his term condition was also 2023. Earlier he used to give me accounts and sent tos again saying whether you are agree or not, this time he didn't do that either. It should pay me according to my work as much.

The icing on the cake here is, I asked him after how much he would do REGULAR void for because I assumed its cheaper and quicker. He SPECIFICALLY turned down regular void and said "I do elite dear" - Screenshot - 854603fed4f22c7b25e1e2bb3cb4fb2d - Gyazo

When the client placed the order for elite void package, I asked him if he is interested in the order, no forcing whatsoever. I also reminded him several times that its ELITE VOID - Screenshot - b1d5942213606151404c6af9c01458df - Gyazo

It wasn't until nearly a month later where he started complaining about the requirements of elite void. What kind of professional builder doesn't know the requirements for the accounts he SPECIFICALLY asked for and starts complaining? I told him this afterwards. When he expressed frustration I offered added payment if we were to finish fast or at least within the agreed timeframe. So, we've established that he's lazy, doesn't finish in time and unprofessional. Now we have established that he's a liar on multiple levels.

Kind of silly that you're not even considering the fact that he promised a timeline on several occasions that was not fulfilled. How is that not breaking an agreement?

Furthermore, the guy is a proven liar yet you're simply choosing to ignore that. He promised a certain build within a specified timeline that he gave me and that hasn't been fulfilled on his end. Is that acceptable?

The issue here is before I assigned him the job, he repeatedly advertised and described what the product will be AND what the timeframe is. He didn't say "maybe around 3-4 memberships" or "I don't know how long." He specified the parameters on more than one occasion BEFORE I assigned the job. So he was fully aware of what he was doing because he wanted the the job and he advertised it as such. "Elite void, within 3-4 memberships". Not ifs, not maybes. WITHIN. If he said this once we could dismiss it as unintentional, mistake or whatever. But he confirmed this over and over again until he got the job.

The product he delivered within 3-4 months is not what was described. No elite void, no regular void, bunch of skills and quests missing on all three accounts. This is simply false advertisement and isn't what I requested or what he promised.

 

Can you tell him to add me to the channel? Only for 10 Minutes

 

I think you're setting a very dangerous precedent. It is common sense that if a product isn't delivered as described then it is false advertisement. What would've happened here if I paid him in advance and he did not deliver the job as promised? He'd be required to provide a refund as it isn't as described. You know this and every other member in here knows this.
You're also not making any comments on the fact that he lied in this report on several occasions and there has been no repercussions or as little as acknowledging the fact that he lied.


In order for me to agree on one or the other, I need an answer on the following:
- If I'm going to let him finish the job, how much more is it going to take? Because we're past 3-4 membership now.
- If I go with option 2, how much should I be compensating him? The agreed amount was [REDACTED] for each account for a total of [REDACTED]. I offered to increase the price to [REDACTED] while the job was in progress on the grounds that he finish it fast and at least within the agreed timeframe which has now been passed.

He has also lied AGAIN on what is left to do on the accounts in his last post.

You're the one who put these options on the table without more information on what each entails. I need to know my options before I decide.

I mean this guy has to be trolling. This is a joke. I tried to negotiate with him on completing the accounts as that is the simplest and most straightforward thing.




He wants 50 MORE DAYS to complete the job that he REPEATEDLY said will take 3-4 memberships initially.

And just a reminder, part of our last conversation (6th June) he said he needs 14 more days. Now he wants 50 more days. 50....EDIT: Forgot the screenshot



He clearly does not want to complete this job. Are we just going to let this joke continue?

 

An agreement for compensation has been reached. I'll be sending over the money tonight.


As closing words, I think it is pretty dangerous and its very concerning that we let people break WRITTEN agreements and lie on reports on numerous occasions and staff won't acknowledge this or weigh any of the evidence involved before making a decision just because the TOS didn't outline consequences for pretty common sense shit.
