What Language Next?

I want to try to learn a second programming language besides vb. So any good and easy ones I could try? I already have them all registered and downloaded just want to know which one to start with. Thanks for your help!

Go all the way to the hard stuff learn some ASM, but if you don't want to do that then it is much better to do C++ than vb

 

I'd personally go with VB 2008.

 

Thanks Guys... I think im gona go with vb2008 because i heard c++ is quite difficult to learn. I look forward to learning vb2008 and mayber later on i can do more.

 

VB 2008 is similar to VB6, but can do so much more. You're best to go with that instead of learning something 100% new. Once you're done that though, there are some different paths you could take; depending on what you want to do with your knowledge.

Many people learn VB first, then C#, then Java, but others choose C then C++.

 

Learn C++. Once you get over the core concepts you'll love it.
