Explanation of the trade: I purchased an account over 2 years ago from Gladiator & never had an issue up until recently. Initially he helped a few times with recovering the account back when the account was locked twice and was able to do successfully. Recently lost the password and attempted to recover the account but Jagex said I wasn't the OO - So I asked Glad to help with a $50 payment as he was the OO and jagex also denied his request, which lead me to believe someone else was the OO and perhaps the previous requests were done by someone else.

How they scammed:
Glad told me he was OO of the account, but it's evident that's not the case and was having others recover the account for him on the previous times he helped out, I spent 9B OSRS gp + $760 USD BTC to avoid anything like this happening. I was mislead into buying this account as Jagex confirmed he was not the OO. The account has been inactive since I last logged into it, it hasn't been recovered back by the true OO - I just either want to be compensated for the loss of over 2 years progress on this account, or have the real OO get the account back.
I acknowledge the ToS was for 6 months support hence why I paid $50 for the OO (Alleged Glad) to submit a recovery as OO's always get the appeal approved, but this wasn't the case with his appeal. If he had access to the original account creation email it shouldn't have been a problem. Does this lead me to believe it was one of the accounts sold to Gladiator by Abe or someone else?

A lot of hearsay and assumptions throughout, let's deal with the facts:

1. You purchased the account on 7th December 2021, 2 years 8 months ago; almost 3.

3. April 2022 you got the account locked, I helped you unlock it.
4. July 2022 you got the account locked again (somehow); and despite you going over the recovery period, I still helped you and specifically told you, that I won't be helping you again as you've gone over the ToS period: https://i.imgur.com/7iFiFW2.png
5. July 2023, almost 3 years later, you've managed to get the account 'locked' again. Despite claiming it's locked, the current password you told me, doesn't work so it's clearly not locked. No idea what you've been doing with the account (sold, shared, broke in-game rules, etc).

6. Regarding "Abe", who you brought up on Discord, as I told you then and as Sythe staff already know, I've known him for under a year so how are you connecting him to this? Grasping at straws.
7. Despite all of this, I felt bad for you and told you I'd attempt to recover it again and I used the same details as before but it wasn't successful - I was not obliged to, but I did as a good gesture.

 

Lots of hearsay and speculation from your end too Glad.
Regarding points 3&4, the account was locked twice due to me attempting to appeal 2 mute offences, and Jagex have confirmed I’m the main player per my appeal attempt and their response.

Yet again my claim stands that if you were the OO and Jagex confirmed i was the primary account user, you shouldnt have had an issue - that good gesture you mentioned was days of me begging to reobtain an account i spent a lot of money and thousands of hours on as well as a payment of $50 for a recovery attempt.

I misread 2021 as 2020, apologies for that. It is still 3x over the 6 month agreed upon period.
