Detailed description of the events that took place and why you disagree with the decision:

I sold an account to him some years before hearing from him about any issues with the account.
The account in mention was created for my partner at that time, and her email was the registered one, i didn't see any foreseeable reason that this would change but it did (time of sale).
I did mention to him that she played the account but got bored of it.

I could have responded better to his messages but at the time i was dealing with a lot of real word issues and took the accusation personally.

I don't know why the account is locked, and I have never in my many years of RuneScape never had a locked account from any kind of game play, i.e., multiple pw changed in short periods, services, vpn/proxy use etc.

at the time of the sale the other party was marked a dnt in the community for ban evading, i also at the time presumed he may have been attempting to recover the account from someone he may have sold it too, resulting in the only way i assume an account would get locked is from not enough recovery information on repeated attempts?

I have been a long-time member of the sythe community never with any bad/poor history, it was only in my later years i started requesting ang giving vouches.
It is genuinely not in my nature to behave in such a manner, i do believe my longevity in the community is some kind of proof to this.

I still have outstanding reputation with everyone i have delt with over the years and could invite many people to vouch for my character, some with what would be seen as high ranking sythe profiles.

i have had a message from the grieved party offering me money to recover the account, since the report here was made. I have explained that I cannot.

I'm am remorseful for what has happened, and ashamed of the outcome, and have taken the punishment seriously as my sythe profile and history is something of an importance to myself.
i would like to ensure you that i have been even more professional with every dealing i have made since receiving my twc and can provide vouches for my behavior even after my twc had been applied, i simply have not been requesting vouches while i am in a twc state as i have been embarrassed to make to much contact on here with my reputable friends, hence feeling the severity of the punishment.

If I could have helped him i most definitely would have, irrespective of the time since he bought or situation of the account.
I had not been active on my discord to have gotten his messages and when I did have time, he had made a report against me and is where it took this personally and lost care factor for the situation given my own current one.
Given i knew i had not made any attempt at foul play and i find it highly unlikely the original owner made an attempt, or it would not still be in a locked state as i belive he said it is? She doesn't play RuneScape she has other priorities.

Thank you for your time and I hope I can have this lifted as i would like to continue using to forum without the Twc for something totally out of my control at the least.
