[Question] About Botting

Hi,

Firstly, I apologise if this is posted in the wrong place or if it's been answered (if so, please advise a link/where and I will delete the post).

I have previously botted on OSRS (approx. 2 years ago), however, was banned pretty quickly and used a client to do it. I understand from reading the forum posts, 'Emulators' are now the best thing to use. However, I'm a little confused about how they work, what's required etc!

So I ask;

- How are Emulators used?
- Is there a 'best' one to Emulator to use and what's the best bot to use?
- Do clients still exist, which can be used? (I'm not interested in Free ones, I am willing to pay)

I am looking to be a Skiller (Premium Membership), looking to get stats up!

What's the ban rate with PowBot? And can it be used via PC, or Mobile Device? I'm looking for a bot I can leave for a couple hours per day, while I work. So would need to be able to use the laptop to do other things, whilst the bot is running. Is this possible with PowBot?

 

Okay great. And do I need to use a Emulator to use PowBot? Or does it have it's own client.
