It is with very sad reasons I am here today. I have had two extremely high level personal RuneScape 3 Ironman that have both been hacked within one month. And the evidence is clearly leaning towards chicks gold.


I am not certain but here’s the scenario. First account I paid to have high level enraged bought on my iron via chicks gold halfway through service my Ironman banked is cleaned out. I go days of dispute with chicks gold and finally learn all the coverage of their insurance is complete bullshit they don’t refund you if your items go missing. Even though I asked does the worker who is on my account have a deposit to cover it. They gave me back the 80 dollars I spent on the kills I purchased and that’s it. Lost 3b on an iron.

Now that I learned my lesson of not buying services I’m going about my business and my main iron playing as usual. One night I go to sleep on an Ironman account with 6.7b of wealth next morning it’s completely cleaned and my clanneis who I’ve been in the clan with for over a year send me a picture of a chat of the hacker in he clan bot advertising gold from chicks gold. Now I realized that the problem must have been my email so I changed everything but I am very concerned if this an actually representation of how the biggest rs seller does business. The first photo is of my maxed Ironman last night while I was sleeping. While it got cleaned out. The next are of my playerauctions interactions with chicks gold after my first iron was hacked . Not sure if they really did this but Im very inclined to believe they did. Would love to hear what mods think this is. Keep in mind these are both maxed rs3 Ironman accounts so yeah definitely a sad day. Hope this isn’t happening to anyone else out there.

Hi there, I'm Catalin the services manager for Chicks(this can be easily verified via my UID and the services server). To answer the first dispute, you initially ordered Telos KC via PlayerAuctions which we got to around 5/8 % of finishing when the dispute happened. Before the missing wealth claim, you had asked for a refund on the service because we were unresponsive(which I'm not going to dispute here, as I said in the original PA messages our unresponsiveness was unacceptable hence why I compensated a full refund) and then 5 hours later claimed that your bank wealth was stolen, which raised some flags. Regardless , we conducted our investigation and concluded that the trainer had not committed the offense on the account. Some context as to what lead to our decision:
-Our trainer had a deposit which was a lot higher than the missing wealth here
-He had done multiple orders for us that had higher bank wealth that had no problem at all.
-Why would the trainer complete 5/8 of the service before stealing all the wealth on the account knowing that it will lead to a suspicion and accusation on him? Would it not have made more sense if he had stolen at the end or before the service started?
-Even if the trainer had a deposit with us, that doesn't mean that we let him off with disputes. We have a very strict two time policy. If the trainer is accused of stealing multiple times, they are out from our services with no deposit returned. This was the first problem and he was vouched by multiple vouched people that he is legit.

When the dispute first happened, I told you that there is a possibility that you were hacked because it was not on us , this just confirms my suspicion if anything. There is a possibility that you were key logged. It is impossible for us to have stolen wealth for you the second time as it was a completely different account with different password and username, how can we even know the login name and password?

You asked whether the worker working on your account has a deposit to which we answered yes, which can be proven in DM with a sythe moderator/admin.

Regarding our insurance on the account, you were made aware of it when you agreed to our terms of service before buying the service as shown here :

Point 5 states that we are not liable for any infractions on the account. That does not mean however that we don't always investigate, we always investigate the case and compensate where we find that it was our fault, but in this case we concluded that we were not liable for it and you were aware of our TOS from the start, I'm not going to pull the " you agreed to our TOS so no matter what else is said here you are liable "move but I guarantee you that we did our proper investigation on this subject.

Let's also be serious, which trainer is dumb enough to advertise stuff like that in the customer's clan chat?The code/referral entered is also wrong, there is no such referral in place or anything of the sorts.

I'd personally advise you to check for any viruses you have on your account, because it is impossible to hijack wealth off an account without knowing the username/email/password, as it was a different account. The only link we ever asked you to send to us was a privnote.com which is a method that ensures your password is only ever opened by the trainer for further security. First off I don’t like the tone sir. As a customer my accusations make total sense. You do realize if you look at my screenshots you see the entire interaction between us so there’s no need to publish filler information.



You say there’s no reason for a worker to steal from a customer but let’s be clear. Do you know all of your workers or are they internet acquaintances? I am certain they are all independent contractors with rep from somewhere. So to say a worker is not capable of doing this is Bullshit.

Now I will say it’s odd that a chicks gold manager would say this and I’ve actually personally never seen you all advertise gold in game. But it’s also super sketchy and all fingers lead to you. How else would someone hack me on my first main and then know chicks did it and do it to my second that’s super strange if u ask me.


So that leaves us with two options I either went and cleaned myself of two Ironman accounts worth over 8-9b of items and items that weren’t even worth anything. For what 600 dollars. When I could have easily sold both accounts for 500 plus a piece since I have decent reputation here and on eldorado.

That said I’m going to be honest i kinda think someone in your group might be involved? Now is that unfair reasoning?

Also I understand your terms that’s why I left that chat alone. Because at the end of the day I as a buyer made the choice to trust someone on my account. But I didn’t make that choice again if yo I clearly read my first message.

Of course that you are entitled to make accusations as a customer , I am not disputing that nor am I disputing the fact that you have a right to feel wronged here and I apologize if you felt my tone was condescending. I was just publishing a reminder of the terms of service that you were made aware of.
I do not personally know every trainer IRL no, but they are contracted to our service and are under our trainer TOS when performing a job for us and pay a deposit. Are trainers capable of doing it and has it happened in the past? Of course, I'm not going to deny that . Practically any service provider has had such a case in the past and adequate compensation was provided. However, in your case proper investigation was done and we concluded that it was not the trainer for the reasons above and more.

Regarding your point with the advertising gold, you are correct that we never advertise in game and here the advertising was wrong , since we don't have said referrals as mentioned. You ask how else and my reasoning is the same like our PA discussion :
It is likely that you were key logged by something and they gained access to what you had been doing, hence them knowing your Chicks purchases. How could we have obtained the password and username+ email when the only thing you sent towards our way is the privnote link which can be verified as a genuine site?

I'm not accusing you of having cleaned your own accounts , but I can guarantee you and assure you that in this case Chicks was not involved as per my point above.

I did read your first message, and I am coming back to my point to ask you : how is it possible that we hijacked your second account when you never had any service done with us on that account and never provided account details or anything of the sorts?

No need to apologize. I just wanted to make sure you understand that wasn’t something that I just created because I got hacked. This was over a month I let it go when one got hacked but two I wanted to discuss.



Now I assumed I was Keylogged on my email too. However the only thing I don’t understand is that email I use for my bank and credit cards. Yet there was no attempted purchased or any details changed. Nevertheless, I changed all information due to the security risk. That is what is leading me to believe this.

Now how can you say that there is 0 possibility one of your workers didnt do it if you don’t know them all.

I don't have to know all of the workers IRL to know how they are as a person, we have trusted trainers who have done 500+ orders with us and all of our trainers are vetted before being hired for us. I talk to them on a daily basis and get to know them , the same way I can tell that it wasn't you who stole wealth from your account I can also figure out it wasn't the trainer.

I'm not an expert in cyber security to properly answer that question, but you did good by securing everything. It is more than possible that said person who keylogged you is aware of how runescape works and just didn't want to risk his shot with the credit card, as that can easily get him into legal trouble compared to just stealing off an account in Runescape.

That’s fair, however I also sold services with a provider called Grands gold and we worked for an entire year and we thought the same. But eventually we found out one of our managers was actually scimming gold from his jobs. That was a whole ordeal we had to pay back to those customers. He had also done 100s of jobs for us. Now that said I’m sure every large service provider has had an issue with some scummy person along the way. Now I just want to know how did you investigate? Because the only thing that showed you investigated was the fact that you said you investigated. I asked early on what did you do and you said you all spoke to the worker. But how does that do anything, we’ve been over the fact that worker may not have been the individual who stole it. I want to know what you all did to investigate because to me it seems all you did was ask him a few questions and let it be. Now I understand these aren’t your terms and I’m not asking for a refund I just want to get to the bottom of this because I’m out years of my life and I don’t want this to happen to anyone else.



I agree I don’t think any intelligent chicks gold worker would do such an act as advertise gold in a clan especially an iron clan lol. However, has anyone been fired lately or something that may have a reason to be mad ect. I’m just really trying to think how this could happen.

As far as I am aware, no one has recently been fired, and even then there is no way they can access your details because of privnote like I mentioned. Privnote only allows the trainer to access your details , in this case a privnote wasn't even exchanged since you never bought from us in the second case.

The reason it seems like that is because I cannot directly disclose to you every single proof that we have that it was not the trainer, as mentioning names here wouldn't be a correct thing to do, but I can tell you that we got confirmation and vouches from multiple trusted people about this trainer when the event happened alongside the reasons I listed above, which aren't only about the trainer they're also about my chain of thought towards my decision. The reason it can't be anyone else regardless is because you sent your details via privnote which anyone can confirm is self destructed after one person opens them.

End of the day, I am truly sorry for your account loss and for everything that happened, but Chicks was not involved in this case. I am happy to keep on assisting you on this case towards finding the real culprit but I can tell you from the start that we had no involvement.

@Oxygawd, unfortunately, isn't enough proof here to say who removed the wealth off of the account. I'm going to close this. If this becomes a repeated offence by @Chicks I will look into it further.
