Help needed

Ok well I was using avg and I updated the system as it needed to be, and when I tried to use it again it said something like "error must use windows xp service pack 2 or higher" I No longer have service pack 2, So I was wondering if anyone knew where I can get a download link to the newest older version of avg (by that I mean the avg right before it required service pack 2 +) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just don't update it, you can update the virus database but don't update the program itself.
