Information: Steam offers the feature to create groups that people can join. This feature was first made available to users in the Steam Community on August 6th, 2007. Older Steam Groups can be used to create gaming clans, a group for your website to make it look more dated, CS:GO Teams, and other things. You can also impress your friends by having a group from 2007.

Note: Group tags can be displayed in Valve games. Also, these tags are pure. No invisible character crap.
