Explanation of the trade: I bought an account for about ~3 and a half 4 years ago (pure guess, unsure now)
How they scammed: Quite a while ago, I had bought an account from Volta. The account was a relatively med level account. Being that he was a trusted user - I went ahead and placed my trust in him, and trained the account into a proper high level account - including going from 72-91 slayer as well as a myriad of other things - especially a 200M+ bank (though I know I can't prove that I had this bank) After getting banned for a separate reason - he decided to recover the account. I made a report and he was added to his ban reason. He has since made multiple attempts to come back. The first time he got himself pardoned in 2018 - he decided to return the account - That will be in the screenshots below. I was in ownership of the account for about a 6 months before he took the account back for a second time. This time, when I confronted him he deleted me. Since then - I have also been inactive from Sythe and I have since noticed he has lied once about returning the account to me in a previous denied pardon and now finally, he has been unpardoned. In both of these pardons he has claimed to have returned the account to me - I can provide a screenshots to staff to prove that this isn't true privately.

Provided below are all of the screenshots I can find to prove all of this. Please note that this occurred in 2018. If there is anything I can do to prove now, feel free to let me know.

I changed your title because it was inflammatory. The issue here is not that we mistakenly pardoned @Volta with outstanding debt; it is that you never reported this debt and are now bringing it up two years later after we approved his pardon.

But anyway, can you please clarify a few things?
1) When was the account that you lost access to originally sold to you? (date, month, year)
2) Can you post the rest of your conversation from Sep 8, 2018 onwards? (if any exists)

 

Hi, to answer your points one at a time:

My title was fact based and shouldn't arise anger out of anyone. He was pardoned recently, and in that pardon he claimed to have paid back his debts - this is to prove he didn't.

You're definitely correct that I never reported his debt the second time he took the account back. I saw he tried to be pardoned once after, and was denied. Past that, I haven't been overly active on Sythe and didn't see the gain in reporting debt with a banned user. In hindsight, this was a big mistake as I could've substantiated this all well beforehand.


1) 28/10/2016 - I have found a Skype inbox with c0ngs who was the MM - but Skype didn't keep the record of the conversation itself. Additionally:










2) Unfortunately, that was the last thing that was said between us - he deleted me afterward. The screenshot above shows that the 'scroll bar' is at the bottom of the conversation - but if someone were to help me on how to do it, I can provide a GIF of it instead if proof is required.

Was the account that you sold here your own account, or were you re-selling someone else's account?

 

The account was my own. And this issue has been ongoing for quite a while. You've come to me multiple times about this and I've told you that I'm willing to recover the account for you, or since it's become such an issue that I was willing to refund you for the account. Last time you denied that because you wanted me to pay for 92 Slayer and the other stats, which I'm not willing to do.

I can keep trying to recover the account for you, or I can refund you the account 90M 07 (If we can find out whatever rate the gold was at the time I will do it based on that).

 

A categorical lie. You've recovered the account twice. And the second time I confronted you, I told you I felt unsafe to use the account. You offered to refund the purchase price of the account - but I had spent over a year progressing the account. You would have gained an insane amount of progress for no money.

Additionally, had I taken the account back - you have shown to have taken the account back on a whim.

I would also like to know why 2FA is on the account if you are needing to 'recover it'

I feel like with either of these resolutions I lose out massively. I either lose years of progress or I get given an account where the OO is proven to repeatedly recover the account.

Finally, I would like to know whether he should be pardoned - he lied pretty blatantly stating he has no debts when he does with me.

After speaking with globals/admins, we've decided this account was sold prior to our mid-2017, "sellers are responsible for sales after this point" date, and no further action is being taken here.
