Basically, we asked @KingRunescapeBuyer to do certain tasks for Grindswap.com in order to qualify for higher compensation. We gave him a list of different tasks that needed to be done (Email marketing, blogging, Discord community, etc.). He said he was not interested in doing anything beyond Live Chat.

The Live Chat for Grindswap.com is very slow. There are strings of hours at a time that @KingRunescapeBuyer literally has nothing to do, despite being paid as a consultant for that time. We were surprised to see that he was unwilling to help grow the business. In that case, he is not a good fit for the company going forward and we mutually agreed to part ways.

We clearly discussed that he was not eligible for commission for the first 2 months of his contract. He has only worked here for 2 months. After that 2 month period was over, we aimed to find a way for him to earn more money and help build out the business. I felt I was very flexible in trying to find ways for him to be more productive during his time, which I assumed would be more stimulating for him, while also giving him the opportunity to earn more money.

We weren't asking him to work more hours. We were asking him to be more productive to qualify for increased compensation. I think it's a very reasonable request.

What is so bad about being more productive during the hours you are billing our company? We are paying for your time, the amount of chats you are covering during that time is about 10% of a normal gold site. We simply asked you to fill up the time that you have nothing to do with a productive activity which helps the business.

What are you even asking for on this dispute? Did we cause any damages to you? Are you asking for compensation? Or you're just asking for me to be TWC'ed? We can't afford to pay you to just sit there and watch Youtube.

 

Yeah I mean this pretty much sums it up.

The original statement was that you should be eligible for commission after two months. It wasn't that you would receive a guaranteed commission after exactly two months.

Unless there exists some agreement demonstrating that @KingRunescapeBuyer is owed $xx and @R2Pleasent has failed to compensate @KingRunescapeBuyer accordingly there is no report here. If you're unhappy with being asked to take on more work for more pay I see no reason why R2P should pay you more.
