Ok lol i made another sig not that good and it actually has a decent bg instead of just a gradient like my 2 others lol i had a little idea for it on this one i was just blank on the other 2... anyways here it is.

ohh yer and i learned how to do this
so its been a progressive 25 mins i guess.
25 mins isnt how long it took me to do the sig either its the time i have been on today.

*and im thinking of adding a border thoughts?

the blending isnt very good, too sharp, good background but pl0x blend it better 7/10
you could increase text size a bit too or change the placing to make more space

This much better than your other work. One thing you don't want to do is cover render with filters. Your sig is black and white but I think it would have look better in color. Like Tr1bal said, its over sharpened. Try other sharening techniques other than filter>sharpen>sharpen.

Pretty sweet...is that General Grevious?!

I did save it as .png i save all the sigs or gfx i make as .png's.
Yer its grevious, and i will try some different sharpening techniques, i did use the sharpning tool for a fare bit of it and i will re do it one in colour and the other in black and one with less sharpning, but what colour should i use?

I used a purple ish colour and redid it a bit i dont like it that much it just doesnt look good maybe if i can figur a different way to do it it would looks better.. anyways here they are, and i spaced the letters in the first 2 i dont know why i dont even think it looks better lol.
And the only other way i could think of colouring would be to just sperate part of it and colour overlay and just brush over it and overlay, lower the opacity or somthing like that or just change the channles doing that i can just get an aqua ish colour, purple like the one from the colouring i did or a yellow the perple and yellow ones look best but some bits dont go well when i do that and i could figure out how to use the channles like a layer it wouldnt let me.
colour a bit:

And there still a little to sharp i fixed most of it though.

your new ones and the final one are much better less sharpened, and your final peice is a bit of a brush whore but it looks good so thats ok =], your improving quick btw

Thanks tribal.
Im working on another peice now i need a good pattern for the bg though.
One like vision and TDD use in a bit of there work.
Also i need it be be a dark gray or black pattern.

Anyways here all i have so far i know it sucks ass big time but i cant figure out how to make the text pop out and the lighting and shit to work =[

Pointers please?
And thats not the full size its sposed to be 1280x1024

Firstly, in area A, as marked below, the light ring in the background is out of place, with no reasoning behind it being there. Now, in area B, your render's arm has been blurred, when it should be in focus. Over the top of everything, you have use a wind filter in this process, with a 60 degree rotation. Do not use the wind filter, it is almost always a worthless distraction, as is true with most filters. Consider next time using focal blurs (select the background and blur each element of it for depth.) What should be further away will look more dramatic if you've got it blurred a bit. Mix this idea with a high contrast color in the distance, blurred, and a mid-contrast element as your focus and you might find yourself right in the center of current trends.

lil bit too sharpen. :S
if you used sharpen filter, don't use it next time, if you didn't, find better render.

As far as color, try using natural colors like the colors from the render. You can use any color that you want but you have to make sure it flows with the render. Along with what Vision said, you want to try to avoid covering your focal/render with filters.
