Amount scammed: $300
How they scammed: Told me they would hold for a deposit of $50 worth of GP in game so i paid for it under the impression i would be reimbursed upon completion of transaction. So i sent the money and he blocked me

Straight and to the point i was scammed and the guy used this website as a platform to advertise. Tried to play again for nostalgia of when i use to play with my dad who just passed. runescape deleted the account i use to play with my dad and i didn't want to restart completely so i took a shortcut and got burned. Dont really have time to level up all over again as i am active duty in USMC. Great community here sad people take advantage of that.

@Pascoe96 - An account like this is worth far more than $300, if the price is too good to be true, it usually is. Review the section stickies and understand the risks involved with buying accounts, you need to scrutinize the person you wish to trade. Check their vouches, when they joined the site, and their donor status.
