Explanation of the trade:
Thanks to Andy for helping me with this report (spoke to him prior to discuss my options)
Thought Azie was going to give me a fair compensation, tried to resolve this in private but turns out my suspicions about him were right after all.

Bought an account of Azie, especially asked who OO was because I wanted absolutely no recovery risk.
Azie claimed his “irl friend” was oo. I deemed him to be very trustworthy due to his status on this forum.

Account I bought was a very specific account I was looking for (ironman at the time, told him prior to buying I was going to de iron it)
Literally asked him what would happen if it got recovered, he said refund of course.
We left the account on his email address, I thought this was safer for safety and ban risk, he also wanted this.
I set one password and it always stayed the same, never requested a password change.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The account came with a bank pin which I never changed, so the only people who would have this pin were the OO (“azies friend”) and azie himself.

Account was recovered February 17th. Immediately messaged Azie, he ignored me for 24 hours. Next day he replies with “what acc is this”, I only ever bought one account of him and the account details were like 10 lines above my message.
His next reply was Wednesday (more than 2 days gone by since recovery). Claims his friend is in Germany (how convenient) this friend was also supposedly the only one able to recover the account.
The account never left azies email, and he claims he never got a password reset when the account got recovered (this is impossible as far as I am aware, whenever you start the recovery process it automatically sends an email to current registered email, tested this as well)
When I mention this to Azie he claims it has happened before “email reverts to Original Owners email” I don't even know if this is a thing but this would mean if this happened it would have gotten reverted to AZIES IRL FRIENDS EMAIL.

I started tracking the account on crystalmathlabs to see if it gained any xp, it gained 35 mage xp (varrock teleport) which leads me to believe whoever hacked it had access to the bank. The bank had runes at the top (varrock teleport). Seems very unlikely to me someone traded him teleport runes over a teleport tab.

5 days later on Friday azie says the OO has finally sent in a recovery appeal.
On Saturday Azie informs me the OO recovered the account. Azie claims he nor his friend have logged in to the account. I ask to be able to watch him logging in (screen share) he ignores this request.
Azie logs in and says bank pin is gone, which is impossible as it takes 7 days to remove, account was recovered Monday. Azie claims bank is empty, bank still had all the original items he sold it to me with (~270M worth of items + 450-500M cash estimated, this is a low estimation it could have been close to 600m)
My Theory: Azie changed the password himself, cleared bank as soon as he could (monday), he knew the bankpin. He then deleted the bank pin which took 7 days to delete which is why he didn't allow me to watch him logging in to the account.
Regardless of one theory or another: The account got recovered by either him or his “irl friend” prior to buying I explicitly asked what would happen if it got recovered, and he said full refund.

Azie wanted to offer me replacement, obviously I do not trust him at all anymore and prefered a $ refund, he said prior to buying he would refund me if recovery occured.
He now claims he wants to pay 75% of the current market price (which probably dropped because I deironed it, not entirely sure)
Regardless he can not sell this account again as he used it to scam me already, ironman or no ironman does not matter at all (in screenshots shown it says neither he nor his ”irl friend” still play)
so this is just another plot to scam me for more money.

I am currently writing this report (23th Feb), I am going to accept whatever Azie offers me and then report him, to avoid him scamming me completely if he scamquits after sending me $ ill at least still have that.

Update: Azie said hes paying me $525 (a 475 loss just on account alone) he doesn't have the money he says so he asked me to wait 2-3 days. Waiting until I receive this to post this report.

Everything I stated above can be confirmed by looking at the screenshots.

I really hope there's a fair decision made here and hope his status on this forum doesn't give him any favorable treatment.

100% refund complete.

-sent proof to Video of a text message conversation that my friend (OO) was indeed in Germany.
-sent gif to prove Video that i took a video recording of logging into the account. I told drako it was last logged in at like 23 hour 50 mins or so which can be confirmed in the recording.

The reason I didn't remember is because I have sold over 40 accounts....

I offered an upgraded replacement but he never wanted that option. Usually sellers either return the account when its recovered but with it this issue that had happened I offered to buy it back instead. I've explained most of it to Video anyway.. the idea that I was trying to scam or even recovered the account is ridiculous so have shown 1/2 key screenshots/proof to Video.

I haven't been active on Sythe/Discord for quite a few months now actually because of my irl work schedule. I almost always reply late/slowly but usually let the person know.

- if oo was in germany he wasn't the one that recovered it, you just changed the password and framed the recovery - showing a gif to video about logging in to account proves nothing, you had 5 days to loot account. I bet you didn't show a gif to video about opening bank to show bank pin was still cancelling and bank was empty (you looted with bankpin) - you were an ex mod on sythe you knew exactly how this report was going to play out, you abused the fact I wasn't familiar with this site and the rules to try extort me for another $475 - your upgrade wasn't an upgrade to me i've told you 5 times why I bought that exact account

I am convinced users will have their own judgement of this. Accounts getting recovered ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS get sent an email (by jagex) the current registered email address so they're aware of recovery attempts. I challenge anyone to prove me wrong on this. You're pathetic, you attempted to use your status to scam me and get away with it, well I guess you did. gz on the $350 Hope this heavily impacts people buying accounts of you.
