is this illegal?

yesterday i bought 40m rs gold from this site ogpal.com.

then i took time to read their policies, and i found nothing saying we do not refund your money if your account gets banned.


so i agreed and bought the gold.

then after they had delivered my order, my account gets locked and banned.

so i take contact with them and ask for a refund.

then they state that they wont refund if the order has already been passed.

so i ask them why its not in their terms and conditions.

they tell me they wont state it into public, so isnt that technically illeagle?


i mean, isnt it illegal that they wont refund my money, when i have only gotten an damaged product as result, and they didnt state something like that in their policy?



thanks. if its an illegal action, i might take contact with the police, or do a charge back from paypal.

That's basically saying you have the option of returning the gp for a cash refund, you obviously don't have the gp anymore so I don't think you're entitled to a refund. Did they say they would take responsibility when you got banned? I doubt it but that's the only way. Trusting a foreign gold selling site with your account was a foolish thing to do though.

You yourself are participating in an illegal act according to the terms and services of Jagex LTD. Any and all product of a Jagex game is not allowed to be sold online. So have fun with taking police action lol.

and shroomsday, i bought gp so nvm what i couldnt have given them the gp back due the 3k limit.



ohh and i forgot, i recently got banned on another char i got, without i had not done anything against the rules, and it still has membership running.

so that mean i have paid for nothing, and since i was banned in error and the membership is running i think it will also be considered an illegal act by jagex ltd.

If you still can of course you should. There's obviously a high risk when doing these types of trades but if they have the intent to completely screw you over when something goes wrong you might as well return the favor.

Nobody will hear a case involving buying gold for an online game. The whole thing is technically illegal due to the intellectual property act, and the gold company is probably run by a sweatshop in Asia where American laws don't take effect anyways.
