    Can you do things for free to earn a vouch?
    Yes, but you can't require vouches for them. You can however ask for it after a service.

    Can you do things for free to earn a vouch?
    Yes, you can provide free services to collect vouches and many newcomers do that.

    However, as Wortel said above, you can't REQUIRE a vouch in a way that: "I will provide X, but only if you vouch for me"

    I'd recommend donating a small amount and charge a fee for your service to make the $ back instead of working for free... nobody wants to leave their account and items with somebody that has nothing to lose.
